Hello Cricuters!
I was recently asked to make tumblers for a bride-to-be and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share my process for placing Permanent Adhesive Vinyl to Tumblers. This is a fairly easy process for Cricut Beginners if you have already made one or two other projects with adhesive vinyl. I would not suggest trying this as your first project!
The first step in this process is to find the perfect font; and since these tumblers will be used to celebrate the upcoming nuptials, I knew it had to be a little bit fancy. On Black Friday, I purchased the Samantha Upright Font from Creative Fabrica and it is perfect for a project like this. If you are going to use this font, or one like it, I highly suggest double-cutting or cutting with more pressure.

This will help you use the Character Map UWP to "jazz up" any font you choose. I combined the Samantha Upright Font with one that I downloaded from dafont.com that is called Christmas Farmhouse.
Follow along with me to see my full process for using the character map, cutting the vinyl, weeding the vinyl, and placing it properly on the tumblers. I have already given all 4 tumblers to the bride-to-be and she loved them!

Once you Weld, it text becomes an image and if you want to resize it, you will have to resize the whole thing.
