This is amazing! Tried your method and it worked perfectly. You are a genius!! This foam is fabulous and so much better than the foam made by Sulky and the craft foam from Hobby Lobby. Also- using the spatula to hold it down is the best - trust me I know bc I have put a fast needle in my fingernail - not once but twice!! Ouch! Spatula is a game changer!!

Hi can this be done on a single needle embroidery machine? And if I understand it correctly you hooped 2 layers of stabilizer then you cut the foam to fit inside the hoop. Then let it stitch out on the foam, clean it up and then put the hoodie on top of the foam and let it stitch out again? Is this how it might be done on a single needle? Thank you!

If anyone comes after you with a copyright or "patent" claim on embossed embrodary.... This technique is called Trapunto it has a LONG history and the patent can 100% be contested because clearly their is a pre existing history for it the patent person did not do the research or the person LIED to the patent office to get this claim. Trapunto had been applied to run way and movie garmenet for years and is much older the media.
