Toooom Doooobyyyy! MAN, that idler pulley was a booger, huh?! I'm surprised you didn't hear me yelling, "put the washer on BEFORE the dust cover!" My forehead is sore from slapping it! hahahaha! GREAT video, Brother. Keep 'em coming. We ALL can use a little more knowledge from someone who does this EVERY day! Wish we lived closer. My younger brother was THE BEST small engine mechanic but, he's gone now. So, I have to rely on my wits, which aren't as sharp as they used to be! hahahaha! Can't wait to see the finished product on this one! Enjoy the loooong weekend!

Awesome video tom . I gotta do mine aswell, my Idler puller broke and both my spindles are cracked just after the bolts all the way through . 🙄 thanks for sharing brother hope all is well 🙏🏾take care and stay cool✌🏾

Thank you for sharing. Do you recall where you got your idle pulleys from? I have this exact model and had a pulley break and currently have the deck taken apart.

i orderd the kit on amazon, just search craftsman 42 inch deck rebuild kit... look at the pictures and compare them to what you have
