Raise your deck hangers all the way up so your deck can slide right out

I was laughing when you were taking the deck off. I have the exact same tractor. Those black brackets catch on everything when you try to slide the deck in or out. I was cussin' up a storm!! But I found it easier to remove the spring and cable when you remove the deck from the right side of the tractor ( where the discharge is). There's more room on that side.

I got this too. I use wires to hold those pesky arms up when I slide deck in or out.

Look on the underside of the hood there is a sticker with belt sizes spindles oil filter plug. Sizes and part numbers

You can also just put the rods back into the bottom hole on those brackets and put the cotter pins back in. It keeps the brackets up and the cotter pins from getting lost. Just did this today on the same mower.
