Hi John! You bet there will be a tear down video! We are reaching the end of the Craftsman USA Ratchet History Project pretty soon. I am hoping to eventually have both the history videos and tear down videos catch up with each other before doing the final ratchet. Please notice that certain ratchet videos on the timeline will be missing, as I haven't been able to acquire them yet. With luck, this will be temporary.

Are these ratchets hard to fine by plume

All of the Plomb made variants for this specific style ratchet are fairly collectible. I actually really like these style ratchets. While mechanistically they represent old technology, shrinking the scale of the internal components and overall ratchet profile is not. Fairly advanced metallurgy and processing techniques would have been employed to make all of the derivatives of these ratchets made by Plomb, while maintaining the same/similar strength properties of larger/bulkier ratchets versus these fairly petite examples.

Unfortunately, unless your local Sears store has old inventory, eBay is your best bet for repair kits.
