I'm not sure I understand why in the first part the man pours out most pf the dye bucket to refill it with water/lye that has no coloration in it. What does this achieve? Thanks!

The wooden latticework (Kumiko) is a beautiful, if labor intensive, art form. Most people will want a table saw, a sled and a good set of chisels!

This is kumihimo! I do this at home with an American-style marudai. Usually made from silk threads. Easy and fun to do. The guys in the video are pretty fast. I'm a lot slower.

Сперва показывают изготовление шнуров от покраски шелковых нитей до плетения и готовых изделий из шнуров 7:47 начинают показывать обработку дерева. В итоге покажут красивые волчки, раскрашенные вручную, очень похожие на нашу привычную с детства юлу))) 18:40 покажут разрисовку бумажного фонарика от разметки до нанесения рисунка 30:25 снова обработка дерева - мастер из тонких реек соберет изящную кружевную конструкцию 38:02 мастер будет покрывать медную чашу какой-то пудрой, а потом запечет в муфельной печи. Затем из расплющенной проволоки будет создаваться изображение, которое нанесут на чашу и снова отправят в печь. Мне кажется, это техника перегородчатой эмали - невероятно сложная и тонка работа!🌸🌸🌸
