Started as a manual machinist before cnc took over, the newer guys don’t understand how much more satisfying it was to stand in front of a lathe and do everything by hand. It was definitely manual but I loved all 15 years of it. Cnc is definitely faster and easier, manual is an art form. Sharpening your own tools and setting speeds and feeds just right, having your own tools.. yup, I’m glad I got to live that old school way before computers killed the skill of it all.

The QC test looks damn scary by swinging the aim past that guy and having all those hard steel angled surfaces nearby the target.

It is amazing how they are working without any glasses, gloves, shoes and how they drill the holes straight in those roads just by holding them in their hands. I never seen something like that, I would like to buy an air rifle from them.
