Very useful tips here! QUESTION: I’ve heard that you should not store punches in the “locked” position as they can become stripped over time....is this true? It seems to me that the whole purpose of the lock mechanism is for storage so this is confusing to me. Please let me know thx. ❤️🦋💜

Lauren, I am so surprised and pleased that someone is still making the power punch. I have had one for over 20 years and love it, but didn't realize it was still available. I think it will be a great benefit to many crafters, especially as we get older and our hands aren't as strong. I used it extensively while making my punch binder. Mine has plates with it for lining up the various types of punches.

Hi Lauren...I have the Stampin Storage units for my Stampin Up ink pads and love them. I didn't realize they made them for Creative Memories products...Now that my daughter has moved out, I'll have a room all to myself. Been thinking of how to configure a room that will help keep my most used tools within arms reach. Nice to now they make the Border Maker Punch holder to sit on a desk as well as one for the Ikea unit...Great video thank you so much for the tips!

Thank you for this video! I really needed to see how I SHOULD store my punches. I first did a manual such as your binder. This has worked well so far BUT I must keep it out where I can see it when I'm scrapping!! That is so important. Thank you.

Yes, I use one drawer of a 2-drawer cube for all my punches, works great for me. I have punched swatches on a binder ring in my tool caddy.

I keep my cm border maker cartridges in a large 3 divider silverware drawer organizer on my shelf in my craft room. I have 43 cartridges, the border maker tools and room lots more. Also wanted to say, Close to my heart website also has "peek a boo" pockets all sizes..a few examples are 8x12, 4x4, 2x2, 4x6 3x4..etc. Good prices for 12 per pack. I have my cm punches lined up on a shelf above my table. Like you, i need to see my supplies. Thanks for all your tips!..love the organization videos!

Did you find any repetitious punches as you sorted your collection? I bought hanging bags from Crop in Style for my large & small punches years ago, my collection is not quite as extensive as yours and they have served me well. I do love crafting tools! My paints and brushes, well, that's another organization story... ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
