It was everyday for me. I was watching the entire video with nostalgia as i grew up with shoes craftsmen working for our immediate neighbors, though with lesser machines and more manual and improvised techniques back on those days. Мне кажется вы несколько переоцениваете эксклюзивность этой обуви. Верх готовый и не очень хорошего качества, стелька на которой собирали картон , носок укрепили а задник нет , вся конструкция держится на одном шве а подошва вообще просто приклеена. А зачем были манипуляции со слепком ноги я так и не понял коррекции в области косточки мастер не делал. Хорошая обувь делается совсем не так)

@@user-de9ei7ms3u я уже подумал, что я единственный это это заметил. Очень интересная манипуляция со слепком ноги, в подобных заведениях это просто иллюзия, что обувь реально делается по слепку. По факту, даже на видео видно , как дед просто приложил слепок к шаблону, на глаз понял что вроде пойдет, и все, это единственное где пригодился слепок. Лол..

To give the customer the impression that it is bespoke when actually it is not. The same is done here in Germany with bespoke shoe inlays which are almost all actually the same. It is a handmade shoe after all, but it is something you could buy from a factory at cheaper price for the same quality.

The boots in the vid have leather linings that will never wear through. BITD all hiking boots had leather linings. Today fabric is used to save money and assure that consumers will never get a lifetime of use from one pair of boots. Best you can get now is about Two years of full-time use...

What I would give for some custom leather work boots... Working for the railroad, I'm always on my feet & the boots sold in America are absolute garbage. So few craftsman nowadays. Excellent work, friend. Stay blessed
