I came across Nicks boots just recently. I am an 11B and have become obsessed with them. I have the Falcon AND the Americana on order. I am very impressed with your transparency of the process and the sheer number of videos that show the process. You also go to great lengths to educate the buyer. Though it might be out there, I have not seen that from another boot company.

I started this journey not too long ago with Iron Rangers. After maybe a months worth of cobblers videos in a few days, I can finally say I understand how these shoes are made to an extent. Surprisingly however, I'm happy to say that the differences between an Iron Ranger and a Nicks Americana are not as huge as I would've thought. That's a chunk of my buyers remorse gone at least. Still though, I recognize that an Iron Ranger could probably last my lifetime no problem. But a Nicks boot, that can last generations. One day I'll see if I can get one of these bad boys in my budget.

Did your boots arrive yet? They look like great boots. I ordered a pair in W/C Double Stuffed Mohave leather. I hope their worth it. I won't see them till January. It's the most I paid for a pair of boots. I was just rewatching the video.

@@billystpaul8907 this comment is a year old. I actually cancelled that order since my first pair was a RTS Natural Dublin and I thought one pair was enough. I was wrong and ordered a pair when they ran it again a few months ago. My pair arrived Last month. I posted. A video about them. I’m still waiting to see more DS Mojave in the flesh, but I hear they are discontinuing some of the DS W&C as they don’t sell well.

As a deployed soldier, I wear boots everyday. The boots we’re issued are terrible and I feel like Im walking around in shoe boxes. I laugh at the after market boots we have available as they’re nothing more than a name brand on a boot who’s priority is profit margin over comfort and protecting your feet. I sure wish we could order boots made with the care you put into your boots.

I never hesitated to buy boots that cost $300. Thorogood made some excellent boots back in the day that we're insulated waterproof along with some thorlo socks my feet were toasty and sub-freezing the weather. I believe the problem is people don't want to spend the money while they're in the military on $300 boots every 6 months.

@Totemparadox2 жыл бұрын
The end of the nail is shaped so that it turns around creating a hook when it hits the metal bottom of the last. So even if your foot was to ever make contact with the nails, it would be a round surface.
