I bought kenwood 1838s after seeing your husband's video. I bought it straight away on your husband's recommendation. Now i am 100% satisfied with your dishwasher buying guide and convincing my wife to buy it. Already i bought an automatic washing machine but that was my homework. Anyhow i requested your husband earlier few months ago, a buying guide video on fridge in Pakistan. Please if you can... thankyou

A couple of things should have included .... what is your experience of witnessing a power failure while operating the said DW? Secondly, a STRONG emphasis on facing utensils down & every other thing, incl spoons, for easy water drain off. I have also noticed a handy menu lock function that we have extensively used against our toddler's intrusive nature. I reckon it for a must-have. Also, based on our experience (not Pak directly), always place diswasher in a well lit area so as to rectify hygine or any washed off debris left in the DW. Have a bin handily placed nearby. Ideally, this shd be located close to a wash sink just in case to rinse off some of the toughest stains upfront. I have also noticed a few individuals installing it a little off the floor to conveniently rack & off rack items from the DW. Hope this helps. Masalam

Great tutorial ! Just want to add that you need to do the settings of pH hardness level first so the dishwasher can take the Dishwashing Salt accordingly to reduce the water hardness. I'm not sure if this feature is available on these Dawlance Units but the one I have by "BOSCH" , it does have this settings. You may need to do a pH level test of the tap water first to set the appropriate hardness in settings.

We bought a smart washing machine last year. It was a very good decision. Still get some weird gaze from 80s anties and pendu uncles who believe this is a waste of money, water and washing powder. They believe it's job of a women to spend her full weekend washing clothes to save 200Rs worth of surf excel otherwise she is lazy and they also give some stupid logics like our mothers didn't have any automatic machine to wash clothes, she managed blah blah blah. Going to buy a dish washer next to put some dish washing salt on their burns.
