💕💕💕 gelli prints, they are all so different. Sometimes I just start by making painty prints and then use them on the gelli plate. Being careful not to gelli print over them completely, leaving some of the painty print exposed. Your prints are awesome 👍👍👍. Thanks for sharing!!!!!

Oh of course more experimenting with the cello tape on the gel plate! I loved all your awesome grungy pulls! I thought you were going to show all the finished pulls at the end but unless I missed it I only saw one page and the luscious tape. Maybe you can share those finished results on the next video….they are awesome! You probably know but a good way to store the tapes is on baking parchment paper because it lets the tape stick lightly but pulls right back off and you can kind of fold up sheets of it with your tapes until wanting to stick them down permanently. Excited for your next gel plate fun! Thanks so much!

This was exhilarating! I loved it. (Cat deserted me when collie boy wanted cuddles, though.) concern about alcohol ink on Gelli plate, but, the contact paper came to mind as soon as you did the tape! Well you knocked it out of the park again. I’m conditioning my plates right now. They just refused to give me anymore prints. Paper was sticking to plates. I love to use my distress sprays and oxides with white or buff to pull. When I first discovered the oxides I used up the pads and had to get new ones to use for stamping. And because of your excitement, those plates better be ready for tomorrow. Thanks for sharing.

Bonus, on your bonus tape… if you use the stamps or stencil with words. You could pick up the backwards letters on the tape and flip it so it’s the right way around then! YES try contact paper and all the different things! Go Toni go!

Soooo cool especially the tape. Toni, I recently stamped some masking tape. I need to post my video but I used my old Teflon craft mat to store the tape on until I use it. I can roll up the sheet and fasten it with paper clips until I’m ready to use it. Maybe you can do that with this tape too. Excellent video!

I like your especially grungy gelli prints. It’s especially nice since I see so many reaching for magenta and pthalo blue. Not that I object to them in moderation, but against stark white paper it kind of hurts my brain.These are great backgrounds but I d also like to see as a base for labels and slides and stuff. The tape would be great for slides. Just yesterday i watched an old flip through of a large glue book by an older woman, she had finished only a few pages before deciding that wasn’t for her. So she collaged up some more page backgrounds and sent it off to a friend who would have more fun with it. Two of the pages were all tapes cleaned off gelli plates, the most wonderful plaids laid over the others. All kinds of colors, chaotic madras. BTW, people can make their own gelli plate plates out of gelatin, there are several tutorials here on KZbin.

I must admit I've done the bright colours but they fitted in with my art journaling but in junk journals I just love the neutrals and grunge I'm definitely going to take the tape lifting further that was such a awesome surprise and yes I've seen lots of people make there own 🥰

Hi Toni, please don’t be offended, but I think you are the “Jamie Oliver” of the Junk journal world, your enthusiasm is contagious, you experiment with different things and you truly love what you do and you are good at it! I love geli printing and you have given me some great ideas, as you always do, and I loved the vintage tape at the end, I had one thought, I don’t know if this would work or not but what if you put the sticky tape down on the non-sticky surface to the geli plate and colour that side. As opposed to the sticky side, then you could, once coloured up, stick it to an old sticker backing or grease proof paper so that it can be used as sticky tape. I hope you understand what I’m trying to say? The alcohol inks might work, I don’t know, it is just a thought, but I look forward to seeing what you come up with. 👍❤️🥰🇦🇺
