I was amazed with the color change of the beard, once the Signo pen was added. Thanks for the help. Beautiful card, Sandy!

Wow....I have to say that I was one of those that went into panic mode. Lol!! I still haven't grasped the concept of just keep going. I am horrible at coloring with alcohol markers. I want copics so bad but they are so expensive and since I haven't completely learned how to share and draw with my other alcohol markers I refuse to buy the topics because I don't want to waste that kind of money. Lol. I love your cards!! Thanks for sharing. You always keep me on my toes. lol.

It's Santa's Belt Buckle, all Santa's have Belt Buckle's : ) : ) With starting my Christmas Cards this year I thought that I would learn how to use Copic Markers, LOL LOL WRONG I was thinking that they would shade like Colored Pencils and blend like watercolors. So, I am thinking that I'm going to go back to my watercolors. I know that I need to practice in order to get better, but it's way to late to keep practicing this year. I don't want to sound like because I'm not really giving up : )

Your artwork always puts a smile on my face. You are so very talented. My favorite charity to help out is AdoptMeBluegrass. It's a smaller charity that rescues and rehabilitates dogs using the local prison. It's good training for the dog and good social development for the prisoners. They do so much with so little and my 14 year and I love volunteering for them and we are DYING to adopt one of the dogs right now.

Awesomeness!! People are saying the little piece you didn't know exactly what it was, was his belt buckle. I just want you to know I would never know that unless it was pointed out. The area is so small and your scene is so great who would notice? I do have a question, I know you're the queen of copic coloring, however wouldn't it be easier and less expensive to create your backgrounds with distress/oxide inks? It just seems like you use a lot of ink with your pens to create your background. Don't get me wrong, your backgrounds are awesome. I was just wondering what your reason is. I suppose it's personal preference.
@SandyAllnock17 жыл бұрын
+Lisa DeLong way too hard to control ink coverage around the image. I get a better look from my markers.
