I’ve got an Embellish-Knit and it’s very temperamental and has to be held while I crank. But it’s ok with some 4 ply but nothing thicker than that. Using the needle to thread it through I the best tip. I’ve had a lot of fights with mine and said some naughty words 😂 I’m definitely going to ask Santa for the Prym.

How long are those pipe cleaners?? The only ones I've found in my area are about 12" and that's it.

Thank you, I've not tried 2mm wire tbh only the fluffy pipe cleaner type for this effect. You could probably thread it through after if it's not fuzzy

Ive got one of these but have lost my clip weight! Any ideas of what to use instead as they only sell the whole thing as a kit!! Xx

Hi, I sometimes use a heavy duty clamp to put on the end of the tail. A large nut could also work (from a nut and bolt) you can get one in a hardwear shop and tie the tail through the hole. Hope this helps

Brilliant idea. To lengthen the bendy I- cord do you attach the pipe cleaners together or just feed in a new one?
