Gorgeous layout. I am not gonna lie; I was really unsure about your choice to use the ledger paper to mat the photo. Once I saw that the mat was big enough to show it is ledger paper, I 'got' it. And I liked it. I just LOVE ledger paper, and I often use it for a base so I can journal directly on it, so it took me a minute to make the switch. It turned out beautifully, as all your layouts do!

Another pretty layout Erin…I really love the doily die cut, but struggle with popping out all those tiny pieces, so I looked on Amazon and found a rolling tool to help me with my problem. I sure hope it helps…I love the doily die cut so much!

Hello Joyce! I add a cardstock shim to my die cutting sandwich for the doily and find it cuts a lot cleaner and the pieces fall out. Try running it through twice, that might help too.

I really like this more clean and delicate looking layout. I was surprised that you didn't outline your light coloured papers with ink like you normally do! I like it without though, it's really pretty. What made you decide not to do that this time?

It’s really funny you mention that because I actually did ink the edges off camera. I used Mink ink and it’s so light you really can’t see it on camera but in person it’s a nice subtle definition.
