I understand it that those separate coils have starting and ending wiring we just need to connect them in series to get ending and starting wires to connect, all those coils ending wires need to connect together and the starting wires of those combines coils will get 3 wires, I was confused about it, it would have been much simpler if coils were mentioned in the process.

Nice subject and video! Almost 1 years ago but still very relevant. Because it is already round shaped I was thinking about a spring loaded version. A spring that is called a "mainspring" made out of a spiral of steel. A mainspring is a spiral torsion spring of metal ribbon - commonly spring steel - used as a 'power' source in mechanical watches, mechanical music boxes and toys. This must be used with some kind of (smart) gearbox to generate the correct hand cranked RPM (or higher) under load. First you crank up the spring to maximum tension with the handle and when releasing it, it starts to drive the 'generator'. If it is possible, it would be nice it can drive for a few minutes. That makes it much easier and there is a more stable output. If you need more juice, simply repeat the operation steps. I don't understand this doesn't exist. It could be really helpful and make the operation easier and more user friendly.

Hello. Great job ! You put very detailed information and thank you. I rebuilt the stator exactly as in your diagram, but I noticed that the start from phases A and C are similar and the one from B has a different starting point. I put the wires through a rectifier bridge similar to yours but the single-phase output fluctuates from plus to minus even though the voltage has increased significantly and it works very easily. Is there something wrong with the schematic?

Question: How many (flux) resistance do you feel by turning the wheel when generating electricity (that is currently used by an application)? For example when drawing 1A (or more) to an application directly from the generator, I am sure that you can feel the resistance when turning the wheel. Using this on a windmill or hydro configuration, it is important to know that drawing (a lot of current) can act like a brake. To ensure it can work correctly, you need some smartness to limit the current the application can consume otherwise it can halt your system. For example, short two of the output together and you are not able to turn the wheel or you need a lot of force to do so. That is something to think about, it does not spin freely when drawing current, there is always some extra resistance you should keep in mind.
@CraftyDude10 ай бұрын
For a hand crank generator you no need smart systems, if your system is 36volts you spin freely till you reach 36v+, then you get resistance and power generation begins, if you push it hard you can get 2amps. But when you want to use it for a wind or hidro generator, deffinetally you will need some more upgrades.

That motor is made to work with high amps and low volts, it spins slow but have big torque, so its the reason why it has 3,4,5..wires in parallel for each phase. Now in generator mode you supposed to spin it very fast that you get some real voltage for charging. Its 3 phase coils in that motor. When you opened that motor first time, before upgrades, in one side was 3 ends with wires, which goes out of motor, thats 3 phases. Ok, so you have 3 coils, which 3 ends connected together(neutral) and other 3 phases. Then you desolder all wires and get every coil from 5 wires, this 5 wires you have to connect by taking one wire end to other wire beginning, then that beginning to other wire ending and etc. I believe at this point you making mistake, couse if you connect same wire end with beginning you get short circuit and motor start stucking(not spinning), so you have to use multimeter and checking wires end and beginning that is no short circuit before you solder it together

@@CraftyDude OK thanks friend. just one more question. So the coil (the stator) has 3 groups of coils connected in parallel to then make the three phases (star connection) and what do you do? Connect each group of those three groups of coils in series to then make the star connection? ?
@CraftyDude2 жыл бұрын
Yes, connect each phase wires to series, then connect that 3 ends together(neutral), and other 3 ends will be phases wires. In video description section I left link to details info pics, did you see it?

@@CraftyDude I figured it out, thanks a lot dude. I am subscribed to your channel. I am going to modify mine since I want to make a wind farm and the wind where I am is very slow with this configuration with less revolutions I will have a good voltage and be able to charge my batteries. Thank you, I hope that if I have a question regarding the configuration of the coils you can help me.

when you havent connected any load on phases is it stucking or spinning freely?
@jdmworld8850 Жыл бұрын
@@CraftyDude no load and hard to spin.. can’t even spin freely.. feels like the magnet too strong.. I don’t know
@CraftyDude Жыл бұрын
You made a mistake by connecting "one wire end to another beginning". When you connect same wire end with beginning you got short circuit and motor stucking. Now you have to measure resistance between phases and find out which of phases has mistake

Thank you..I think I got it right..but I’m getting 6.8 ohm readings on the wires

cada fase tiene 5 cables que en el motor instalado en paralelo, todo lo que necesita es volver a conectar esos 5 cables en serie, para cada fase

But how can i know what end of coil reconnect to what end of the phase? Like you said there are 5 wires of phase and dot D, how i reconnets it right that it will be in series?
