I woke up very early with this hymn in my head! I hadn’t sung this in many years! I looked it up on KZbin and found many versions of it, but the familiar cord changes weren’t there until I found yours! This is how I remember our congregation singing this song! What a blessing it is to hear it as I remember, with the beautiful cord changes and lovely voices! May our Lord Jesus continue to bless your music!

I come from a singing family..when we would get together we would sing hymns. The last time, there were about 65 of us..we were Church of Christ, so we did not use a piano...good memories...I now lead singing, a couple times a month, at a Southern Baptist Church. The older members love it when I break one of these older songs. I'm leading this Sunday, and this song will be in the service..
