I actually used a bone folder to lift up an image to re-stick it more evenly not too long ago. Before I heard your tip what you do if you place an image crookedly, I would pull it up with my fingers, which didn't look so good when I stuck it back down. When I did do as you showed us, it worked very well. Just wanted to thank you for being willing to give us such tips. Thank you, crafty Ria! 🥰

Hi Maria thanks for sharing your Christmas card recycling series. I hope you keep it up throughout the year like Crafting Vicky does. I'm really inspired by the both of you to recycle my own cards. I especially like that you re-use the greeting on the inside and put it on scraps of coloured paper. I've lots of small scraps of Christmas wrapping paper (that are too small to wrap gifts in) and was wondering if I could use them in any way and now I will use them behind the greeting. I also like that you explain how you trim down each card and select which parts of the image to use. The acetate 'window' template is brilliant to illustrate your point.

Thanks for the nice comment, Sandra! I really appreciate it. I will be doing recycled cards all year as I have so many to recycle and I really enjoy them! I'll recycle other types of cards as well, but I have mostly Christmas cards. I love recycling as much of the card as I can. I love Crafting Vicky's videos and that's what inspired me to make this type of video. Thanks again for your kind words!

Maria, as I was watching this, I thought of a technique I saw and was going to try and thought you may want to try it on some of your winter scenes. Not sure if you like using glitter, but if you do, search using used dryer sheets on cards. According to the videos I watched, it makes the cards really sparkly.

I realize this is an older video, but I was wondering where you get the paper you use for layering. I can see a thinner, non-cardstock paper might be best in many situations. Thanks! I'm learning so much and really want to do this!
