Crag Crest Trail on Grand Mesa

Surrounded by much more arid environs, the Grand Mesa, with its greater precipitation, lush forests and many lakes, is very much its own ecosystem. The Crag Crest Trail spans a stretch that affords a high vista of much of the surrounding region, as well as of the wonders of the Mesa itself.
