How beautiful scenery ! The lakes, hiking road are beautiful and relaxing place. Is there any danger in coming across a bear this close ? There are many bear incidents in Japan, and many people have been attacked by bears. Colorado has many beautiful national parks, as you have shown us. Thanks for nice sharing my friend 🤗❤

Fortunately we were on the other side of the lake, so we were at a safe distance to watch the bears. There could be danger with the bears, especially if you got too close to the cubs. But everyone kept their distance from the bears, so nobody was in danger. Thanks!

A beautiful drive, the views were simply amazing, Anita. I loved the alpine lakes and flowers, too. I wouldn't want to be there in a rock slide! It's absolutely stunning. And a lovely hike too. Best place to be with the bears, the other side of the lake. Thanks for sharing.

There were several places along that highway that appeared to have rock slides in the past. I guess the rock has been breaking up from all of the freezing and thawing at that altitude, but it sure was pretty! I always love the alpine lakes as well. Happy Monday!

What a great view and such a quiet road, so the driver can also safely enjoy the fantastic views. Such a beautiful drive. The lake and visitor centre looked great, just a shame the centre was closed. But a wonderful place for a hike, especially as you saw the cute bears.
