Love it ! Just did that same area for 6 days...base camped though at fish creek and did a bunch of loops to scout the area for return trips. Absolutely was blown away by it. Will be back hopefully soon...damn work gets in the way! ..great job Bud !

@MeetMeOutside I did those too..were great. Did upper Saranac the top part...didn't film that...too big open water...had to pay attention there in open canoe with big crossings...it was a relitively calm day...but my favorite I think was Follensby Clear Pond and Floodwood...actually...I loved it all !!

Hey Craig. It was a treat for me to see you have so much fun in my home waters... and to see it through your eyes (especially that float down Fish Creek). Great adventure and excellent job putting the vid together. The gear explosion... hahaha. You certainly had a hot stretch of weather. But thankfully the black flies died off early this year. I look forward to meeting up in the future.... here in the ADKs and when I venture to Maine. Thanks for the channel shout out and all the nice things you had to say about Canoe Camp Climb. That was very kind of you. Oh, I almost forgot.... your head band is iconic... I'm not surprised you got recognized. Cheers my friend.

What a great video. I want to do that same loop at some point. Its a popular loop up there and I can tell you made the absolute most of it. Thanks for sharing the video. I met butch up there in that area as well. Specifically where you slept on night 2. Saw him camping on that little point. Definitely worth picking his brain on the area!

Do you think a wheel cart could've been used for portages on that trip. The paths looked pretty smooth. That was an awesome video. Cool that couple noticed you

Love it over there in the Adirondacks. It's only about 3hrs for me. Look into the Oswegatchie river. I did that traverse a few years ago, very remote and beautiful campsite as well. If you're interested, the trip is on my channel. Great video my friend. Have fun out there!

I happened upon your video and I am fascinated with this! I'm not far from the Adirondacks and I go camping a lot but I've never used a canoe like this and went through potages and I really want to try this. I was just wondering is there any particular canoe that you recommend? I'm worried that I might not be strong enough to carry that and the gear 😂
@MeetMeOutside
@MeetMeOutside 3 ай бұрын
@@maryrobideau6736 it’s hard to say, I’ve had several canoes in my life, it would be difficult to just recommend one in particular. My canoe is 15 feet and weighs 22 lbs. so for me it’s easy to carry around. I’ve had similar length canoes in the past that were over 70 lbs, I would try to borrow a couple canoes from someone you know and try it, and see if you like it. Good luck !

@@MeetMeOutside wow! I could definitely do that! Your video really inspired me...I have been up to follensby pond once on motor boat but being able to go down the smaller waterways and see those hidden bodies of water looks so much fun! I'm only 50 miles from the adk. I'm going to study this and intend on hopefully doing this next summer if I can find someone to accompany me 😀🤣
