I visited NYC for an entire summer for the first time in 2011. When I had to go back home to Honduras I had a numbing episode of nostalgia. I watched this video on repeat over and over for months. In 2013 I managed to move back to NYC and lived there for 2.5 years. Now I live in San Francisco and I’m holding my 5mo old daughter while she sleeps. I never imagined life would have panned out like this for me, and I feel so grateful about everything that has come my way. To this day though, I get nostalgic remembering NYC and my life there, even though it’s been so long now.

Not many songs grab me emotionally, but his one does. There is a Definite sonic alchemy to this song, like a drug. Makes me want the hop on the Amtrak, only 8 hours to NYC.

HEY! This is another version of that Wolves Rain song "Heaven's Not Enough". I was sitting here bothered by the fact that I heard this before and could not for the life of me figure it out until suddenly, It popped into my head. Wolves Rain was an anime from 2003, and this song is from 2002 so I guess they made a version of his song not the other way around. You should check out the "Heaven's Not Enough" it's pretty good too.
