It’s absolutely important for future generations that we keep all items possible from films.

The iconic poster of Robbie was NEVER depicted in the movie. He carries Ostrow to the living room, when he had been under the 'educator'.

The hand weapon was not a "laser" (fires a needle beam of electromagnetic energy); it fired neutron particle energy beams, way more powerful than a laser, as was demonstrated on that tiger...

The Art concepts for the monster breaking into the laboratory kind of resembles The Thing from John Carpenter’s 1982 movie.

Perhaps we will have handheld blasters if we can develop diamond batteries which could have enough power to power one.

I would take an educated guess at the ID Monster artworks being from the hand of Mentor Huebner who was responsible for much of the concept art for the production.

How many filming models were there for the cruiser? I know Agnes Morehead destroyed one of them on the Twilight Zone set. Was that one bigger than the 20" model? The landing strut steps set and the interior set seemed to survive well into the 60s (Third Planet from the Sun, To Serve Man, a couple B movies). Nice collection.

The TZ one was a cheap copy- the paint job looked like Rice Krispies were mixed into the paint!
