Its fairly simple. Next year Rangnick's job will be bringing in and getting rid of players, and based on fit and talent, he is getting rid of a lot of these players. Exactly.. A good example is how Ancelotti improved Vinicius's decision-making in front of goal, Improved Militao's positioning. He did the same with Everton by improving Calvert-Lewin and Godfrey. That's what a manager and his staff can do. Unfortunately, the crop of players at united is egoistic. We saw that with Mourinho and Ole. A clearout is required barring De Gea, Rashford, Greenwood, Sancho, Bruno..Rest can all be replaced by quality players from other leagues.

How is Ronaldo the problem? In his first year back in the premiere league, at the age of 36 almost 37, he has a better goals per game ratio than ANY other player in the Man United squad has had in the past 4-5 years. With the exception of Bruno Fernandes last season scoring 18 in 37 games. Trying to blame it on CR doesn’t make sense. Manchester United have been complete garbage since Fergie left. No manager has had much luck at United with any squad from 2013 and onwards. 2nd place and 10 points between them and City was the best they’ve done since 2013. 2 seasons ago man United were 3rd and well over 30 points behind 1st placed Liverpool. Don’t blame Ronaldo, the issues have been there since before Ronaldo came. Only thing is now things got worse for the team because they act like children who aren’t being compensated for their work on the pitch. If you’re on 150,000plus per week in salary, maybe you should really look in the mirror and ask yourself “was I worth the money?” Because clearly the past 8 seasons at man United have been full of flop signings, time and time again. If you’re in tune with reality you’ll understand I’m not even trying to hate on United because that was my first love. As a kid I was gifted a Manchester United jersey and fell in love with it. Not knowing a single player on the team I’d watch the games and cheer them on not even aware they were playing friendlies. CR is the problem because he is selfish and stays inside the 6 yard box for tapins. The goals he scores ( tap ins and penalties) any body in that position (Cavani, Rashford or Greenwood) would score. He is isolated whatever system you put it's 10 surplus 1 player vs 10. Surplus because other 10 have to carry CR7. He does not have skills to pass, cross, dribble, freekicks, corners, interception, tackle and motivate the team. In EPL it's impossible to be on top 4 with 10 people pressing and 1 person inside the 6 yard box. Check now a days even goalee requires to press. It's illusion to say that CR7 scores this and that with his present team goals from last season has dropped significantly and they are vulnurable now playing as 10 surplus 1 and conceding much more. The football game is simply you have to outscore the opponents. So with CR7 it's less than NET 0. Simple as that. whichever managers come or formation they play the results will not gonna improve, At most # of tapins might increase but still the team net goal will not increase.

As Burley stated this bunch of players are killing everybody. Players lack workrate, pressing and basically refusing to do it. The highly decorated manager, Jose Mourinho said: 'finishing 2nd with that MU squad was my greatest achievement'. Fans overwhelmingly thought he was offering excuses, for the failure to win the EPL title. Year after year since that statement was made, the situation, kept secretly at the club, has deteriorated to such an extent that some whistleblowers have decided enough is enough - fans need to know the real situation. The cliques are causing major divisions within the squad and creating a toxic atmosphere. This was the reason for Jose's frank statement, without explanation at the time, It was a miracle that Jose won anything! It has become clear Jose was managing under a squad of players growing in power and this could have been stopped dead in its track had the Board acted properly by accepting Jose's request to move on some troublesome and underperforming players (Pogba and Martial). The Board in rejecting this proposal and favouring the players, basically undermined Jose's authority and there was only going to be one ending - sacking. Ole the club legend, was accepted by the players in the role of 'psuedo manager' - he had little influence on the players and this was evident when he had to appease Rashford in a press conference after having made a previous statement which made the players camp 'unhappy'. The Board is at fault for this schemozzle!
