But with every game available on video, every club has endlessly analysed every aspect of their game. With the injury list they are certainly going to have to do something different. At the moment the defence is pedestrian and there is no de Bruyne opening opponents up. I get bored with people going on about them spending money as they really don't throw it around (perhaps Grealish apart) and usually (cliche incoming) improve players.

The signs already there since last season. Their defence had been constantly conceding and is now getting worse. Opponents team realised and starting to take more risk upfront with more numbers and it starting to pay off. City should start to adopt different strategy that is more balance between their defence and forward. They should stop playing very high defensive line. Also it is time to get in more younger players as many of their players already too old and past their best.
