What if Craig IS Sean Connery's son? Where Sean had an affair with a female Transylvanian vampire and Craig and Geoff are their love children? And then Geoff had a bad experience with a flamingo and he died young, then Craig has no idea he had a brother, then because his mother is a female Transylvanian vampire Geoff was reincarnated as a robot skeleton and the Late Late Show is like a reunion between the brothers. And Secretariat is just a figment of Craig's imagination and it reminds him of a horse that Geoff gave him as a gift while he was alive? I seriously as imagining that as Craig and Geoff's backstory.

That would explain the finale. At the end of that, Nigel Wick (or Craig if you'd rather) woke up in bed next to Drew Carey, telling him about the bad dream he just had. He hosted a late night talk show, and of course, Drew hosted a game show.
