This episode was the first time Josh Robert Thompson did the whole "I got a place there" gag for whenever Craig mentioned a city or town whilst reading the tweets and emails. From then on it remained a running joke for the rest of the show.

I watched Craig from the first to last show. Was very lucky to go to the filming of the LLS in LA Went to quite a few of his stand up shows and meet and greet Craig is very nice and cordial Those years were magical. Thank you Craig

I definitely miss Craig's improv style. Not everybody can do improv, so I wouldn't want them to try to make all late night shows like this, but when you have the right people, like Craig and Josh (the guy who played Geoff), it's downright magical.

same here, but the reason they don't unfortunately is because of the ridiculous amount of content. In his 10 years he had 2000+ shows. That's well over 200 per yr. It would just be a hassle to get that many episodes, although if they did do that you better believe I'd be the first person in line to buy that box set

I don't think so. The very original run of Geoff didn't have an actor doing the voice; the puppet just had a sound chip with several different sound clips (voiced by Craig). One of the voice clips was "Yeah, I've got a place there". Craig would ask a guest about their home, or somewhere they'd been; Craig would then ask Geoff if he'd ever been to X, and Geoff would respond with that line.

Never know with network contracts (ie:politics) whether he needed it for the money but according to his talks on the show it was his decision. He killed it on his final (shooting just prior to the final recording). Never knew singing on a desk was so alluring. It's now a thing thanks to Craig! Do you know what game show? (I despise them but if I can find news on him SOMEWHERE, it'll be a bit brighter in my world.) :)

At one time or another. We had both Craig Ferguson, Conan O'Brian, Jon Stewart, and Stephen Colbert. Now we only have Coco, and Colbert. Fallon sucks, I've yet to see the replacement for Stewart. Everything is soo backwards.

Their sense of timing is nearly impeccable. When Craig senses this has become a pattern, he stops himself to ask the same question he did before: "How often do you get there," only then going on to "What do you do there?" Golden.
