Craig is probably the most original and genuine host in late night. It's a shame he won't be hosting The Late Late Show any longer, I'm hoping he's going to a different network where he can continue to have hilarious moments and genuine heartfelt moments like this one. Ferguson will always be one of my favorite late night hosts because of ability to talk about his personal life without fear of public outlook or opinion. No late night host is as up front as Craig Ferguson, not Fallon, not Kimmell, not Letterman, hell not even O'Brien. Ferguson is the real deal.

I didn't even try not to cry. Usually when I'm watching Craig's videos, I expect to see something funny, so after all the laughter he's given me I thought I have to watch this. I have never watched an episode of Craig Ferguson's late late night show when it aired - nothing against the show in particular, but I was never a huge fan of any of the late night programs. With that being said, his monologues have made me cry on four separate occasions, all by randomly stumbling across clips based on KZbin recommendations. I wish I had taken the time to watch his show when it aired. What a genuine and funny man - he has an innate ability to just connect with people in real and meaningful ways.

This monologue is what really turned me on to Craig Ferguson's Show. Prior to this I would record various late night shows based upon the guests. I was so moved by this genuine sentiment I realized there was more to Ferguson than meets the eye & began watching his show for him, not the guests. my favorite part of Craig is, and has always been, his sincerity. in a superficial world that we live in, where we edit our lives on social media to create this fake persona that we are "happy" or "satisfied" with our lives, I always appreciated that I could turn on Craig and find some genuine, unstaged humor and sincerity, no matter what was going on in Craig's personal life. It's awesome to hear about his childhood and some of the personal experiences that have shaped him into who he is today. I'm a believer in Jesus and I wanted to just say that I really pray that Craig will open his heart to Him and remember that "Jesus loves me, this I know; for the bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong, they are weak but He is strong."

I came and listened to this after losing my own mother, having listened to Craig talk about his father, when he lost him, after I had lost my own. Craig was a rare figure in the world of American tv presenters; he was a real person, who said what he really felt and listened to his guests, with real interest.
