I literally couldn’t stop laughing out loud watching this guy DESTROY anyone bold enough to TRY to tackle him 😂. What a joy to watch this video! More need to know about this guy!

The definition of a power back. Awesome video, keep up the great work.

Big, physical back, with balance, burst, and quick feet. He had a pretty good career. If he could've kept his weight down in his prime, my goodness what could've been. He was definitely fun to watch at Pitt and in the pros.

From my high school. Passaic, N.J. He was unbelievable . That's where he got his nickname

He was crazy athletic for his size. FYI, just watched a story on NFL network about CAM Heywards charity. That's what brought me here. Props from a life-long Chiefs fan✌️

I was fortunate enough to watch him at the University of Pittsburgh when I was a kid. He used to eviscerate LB's.

Played against him in high school. Scary. I played for east side high. The ghost.

It could be just downright impressive watching him play. Most of these clips I have seen - but there are some hard hits he's put down that you really don't see as well, some much worse than these TBH (as I recall). I seem to remember a shoulder to shoulder hit with someone who launched at him - did not end well for the would-be tackler. A true Tyrannosaur of his age.

Greg Heyward was my neighbor since he was 7 years old. I recently read an article by his son that told of how he got the nickname, " Iron Head " but I remember as kids before that, that he was called " Big Head " ask his brother Steven. (His brother Natan was a tremendous athlete as well but the streets got the best of him, unfortunately)

This guy was one bad dude on the field. Even someone like me that wasn't even a Saints Fan loved to watch him run and literally punish people in his way to the goal line. I had no idea he passed in 2006 from another tumor. That's really sad. I think he has like 4 sons. He left this world at 39 yrs of age. Thats still young, and just doesn't seem fair. I hope all his kids have some his talent, it was definitely amazing to see. #GodBless

@@rogermcguinn2452 If you haven't seen Craig Heyward's comedian side, go to KZbin and look Heyward Zest Commercials. I never met the man, but always wanted to. He just seemed like a really down to earth family man with a God given talent to play football. The NFL have had some amazing people that were also amazing athletes.

unfortunately he drank alot but I heard had quit towards end of career, but I'm sure the damage had been done. He was pretty open about his alcohol issues

Loved watching "Ironhead" growing up. Only time he could be tackled was if you grabbed his feet or jump on him when he was off balance. Dude was like a train.

One of the most unrecognized ways to slow down a pass rush is to have a guy like this in the backfield. D-lineman need to be ready for this guy first (and he'll wear them down).

Beware running backs who wear lineman’s face masks…big Pete Johnson from the Bengals comes to mind as another who sported one. That’s a sign of a guy who plans to run through people and not around them.
