I agree, holy crap the league looks NOTHING like this now. The level of physicality was nuts in the 80's, 90's, and early 2k's. I ttly forgot how athletic Shaq was in his prime and Iverson was an assasin. HOW did he not get hurt more often? RIP Kobe was off on this night but even Fox was ballin'. lol

Kobe was getting cooked alongside Fisher by Iverson all throughout game 1 so they had to put Tyronn Lue on him to slow Iverson down. @dalenewton9697 chamberlain was your typical 7 footer. Long and lanky. Shaq was a 7 footer with tremendous power and strength. Quick feet and agility. And Shaq is a very intelligent player as well. Shaq is a one of one to date. We've seen other chamberlains.

So much to unpack...Aaron McKie was extremely reliable on the mid-range and an elite defender. This version of Shaq was the most dominant 5 in modern history, perhaps the most dominant player we've ever seen. The speed on transition for the Sixers was elite, even up against today's speed of play. Those guys moved. Although Kobe was an all star at this point, its crazy to know his game would get exponentially better over the 3-4 seasons. There isnt a player on the planet that could keep Iverson from getting the shot he wanted
