What I impressed by this video is the rebound of Mutombo, he box out well even against Shaq, and he get the rebound with power, and already protecting the ball in the air. I cannot see this kind of rebounding skill in modern era, they just mostly standing under basketball and waiting for the ball now. This is the first time I feel fighting for the rebound is so cool!

The speed on transition for the Sixers was elite, even up against today's speed of play. Those guys moved. Although Kobe was an all star at this point, its crazy to know his game would get exponentially better over the 3-4 seasons. There isnt a player on the planet that could keep Iverson from getting the shot he wanted

AI and Shaq got mauled in this game. There were at least 10 uncalled fouls on each of them. Shaq was doing this against Mutombo and AI had Kobe on him most of the game. Shaq was at his peak of dominance; basically unstoppable. Wow!

I remember coming home from work and this was on TV my family watching .The game already was about to go into or had begun in overtime.After that game it was remarked that the myth that the Lakers couldn't be beaten all playoffs that year was shattered.

This was one of my favorite games in NBA history. They went on to lose the next four, but to steal game 1 in LA against that unstoppable Lakers team was unbelievable.
