Connery the best of the movie Bonds with his combination of wit,sarcasm & sadism. I liked the Dalton, bureaucratic Bond.Moore & Bronsen were cartoon characters.Craig has a different spin, more like a Manchester CHAV, that became trained & focused.If you watch the 1950's teleplay on Casino Royale, supposedly the closest to Fleming's character, you can seen some of Craigs roots.Craig's a good actor & a good Bond. BTW;Check out Craig's movied "Defiance"

I hate the lack of bad girls in the Craig movies and the fact that there's nothing really distinct about the villains or their henchman. As for Craig, I don't mind him at all as Bond but my favourite will always be Roger Moore followed closely by Connery.

QoS was basically a set-up for Skyfall. Kinda like how the second Pirates of the Caribbean just set up the third one. Casino Royal was awesome. I really like how their taking bond back to his roots, the alcoholic snakebit assassin portrayed in the books. Skyfall is going to be amazing and then no one's going to care about the $10.50 they wasted on QoS.

I've actually gone off Craig as Bond massively since Casino Royale, when I felt he was such a great choice and had so much potential.He looks like a Russian henchman with a shaved head, not James Bond. He's really stiff and awkward in the role too, and very robotic and unlikable.. and in the last movie, SPECTRE, he just full on raped a woman which was vile.. seriously wtf was that. The best Bonds were Sean Connery and Timothy Dalton. Brosnan was great in Goldeneye but the rest of his movies were increasingly lame and I felt his performance became thoroughly bland, stupid and smarmy. Roger was great in a totally different way - as a parody Bond, a clown. Lazenby did well considering he'd never acted in his life, but he was still a boring and bland 007 and was very lucky the movie he was in was so brilliantly written and directed and he had some incredibly fine actors to work with. But anyway, yea, Craig could have been A LOT better as Bond but they keep shaving his head, making him do way too many free-running chase sequences, repetitive junk action to fill out the movies with, some horrendous dialogue (many in the last film felt like they were for some california teen tv drama..) and generally trying way too hard.. like the constant vodka martini gag references in EVERY DAMN MOVIE.. it was ok in his first one (albeit massively forced and his delivery of the drink order really awkward and stiff as usual) but they keep doing it as if to say "Hey! Look! Look how much like James Bond I am!!" OK we get it, try playing James Bond, stop trying to endlessly convince us you are 007.. Bond just is Bond he doesn't keep trying to remind everyone the character that they're watching is! That's possibly th biggest problem I have with the Craig movies. He totally does not look anything like James Bond but instead of giving him a good, slick haircut and such and letting him BE 007, suave, easy going, classy, elegant yet dangerous and rough when he has to be.. he's just constantly marching around all stiff and robotic endlessly trying too hard to appear tough and obsessing over ordering vodka martinis, showing off Aston DB5 cars, close-ups and even dialogues about how great his Omega watches are, obsessing over the violence and nothing else as if James Bond (even in the novels) is ONLY about being a violent robot and a full on rapist.. w..t..f. Rant over.

Spoilers: I thought Silva was wasted potential in Skyfall. He was so reminiscent of the Joker from TDK with the "getting caught was all part of my plan" thing and just the way he acted in general. He even had a deformed/messed up mouth like the Joker did lol. and he had one of the most lackluster deaths of any bond villain.

Have to agree. I was really excited when Craig was announced as Bond and defended him a lot.. but now I just find his portrayal thoroughly stiff, awkward and robotic. Obsessing way too much over trying to show off the fact that this is James Bond being portrayed (which always just takes me out of the movie), always obsessing over the violence and aggression and nothing else. Casino Royale was pretty good but that's only really because they had an entire Ian Fleming novel to work from.. since then his movies have just been really boring and lifeless to me, and he does not feel like James Bond. He just feels like some kind of Russian henchman masquerading as 007.
