woah back in my day when i went there it was the bonga wonga beach club and the atlantic showbar, venues look somehwhat the same, but the sound systems in each hall used to be alot better to the point that you could literally hear the evening entertainment whilst you was heading back to the caravan, they seem to have toned that down alittle bit with small speakers 😂😂

Nowhere near what I was like in the butlins days with the piazza and the showboat. No fairground anymore, hardly anything to do for kids apart from amusements

My cousin went in early March this year for a week, he needed a break. The night he arrived there was a knife and bottle fight. My cousin gave up her caravan here because of the trouble with youths on the site and the site fees.

Place is a shell of its former self butlins when it had the full fairground went to haven they had the tiniest section and go karts now theyve all gone in place of more caravans pure and utter greed from bourne leisure tbh

These are the types of holidays you’ll go on with youngsters you can obviously get abit to old for stuff like that after a while My parents still ask me do I wanna go in a caravan with them and I say no Cos I’m way to old for that shit what’s on site 😂😅

It's alright if you have plenty of money, very expensive if you have a couple of children, if you like a wee drink buy a carry out before you go,if your going to the main beach down in ayr, stop into farmfoods or Iceland, good value for money ice cream and cans of juice, drop into the shops on the way back to the caravan and pick up some meals from the frozen food pop the meal into oven and save quite a few pounds instead of buying takeaways buying a takeaway is very expensive and probably reheats most of the time it's a waste of your hard earned cash, hope you all have a happy holiday and please look after your children and your spouse or partner, or your wee bit on the side, only kidding, look after one and another, God bless and keep safe and smiling.

place is a dump and filthy. It was fine until they took the rides away and added more caravans. Now it's an over populated dive, pool is absolutely disgusting. I would never go back

nothing compared to the old butlins, had a van there, worst thing i done. haven are the worst to deal with and place costs a fortune

been there once has a teenager hated it and boring never again hated the swimmimg pool and the boys changing rooms to no privicy to ever in the changing room because its one hugh single open room with no cubicles along with the kids club for 12 to 17 year old and felt humalited been there because we had to play a game that felt like for 8 year olds and all this stuff we can do in our local areas and cheaper to only go if you want to see places like harridans wall or going to a forest walk that you want to do even then best to make the holiday there short i woudnt recommend full holiday there

and the funny thing is this stuff you could do locally e for cheaper and the vr i say who cares i have a vr headset at home and i can play vr games all i want for free and probley has the same experience that you can buy these cavern parks are boring i went to CRAIG TARA back when i was 14 hated it never again i hated the swimming pool to along with the boys changing room they was no privacy at all i get going to these places for a weekend trip and visit places like Hadrian's wall and all that stuff but i would never do it for a full holiday i would rather save up to go to somewhere like Italy at lest somewhere like Italy you can visit mind blowing places like Pompeii and all that
