I hated this song when I first heard it... I think it was episode three of season one when it first played (the first two episodes did not have the open). But, it started to grow on me and now I can't stop. It has a hypnotic and subversive quality to it.

Literally thought this was a oldschool 80's-90's song when I first started watching and was suprised I never heard it before beacause I have an appetite for music that predates me but I was genuinly impressed this was an original song just made for the show, perfectly encapsulates the essence of the time period in which it is attempting to portray.

Lots of emotion from the lead singer here! Morrissette has that natural and beautiful vibrato in her voice. Her voice has a bit more power. There are a couple extra sounds in this original version that make it more interesting. I love the organ/keyboard in both. I think it's cool that she covered it. She must also really like the original (which is more badass, IMHO)! Did she get permission to cover it?
