I thank my ex because if he did not pull away, I would not come across this channel and learned about attachment issues. He came back, I became secured, and he was asking as to why I have changed. It's not that I moved on from the whole thing so quickly, but it made me realize what I want and I don't want in a relationship now. Thanks for all of your help Coaches! God Bless! :*

You guys are the best. I'm going through this very same issue with a relationship of 1 year. It's really hard to back away from my gf when she's telling me she loves me while distancing from me at the same time. I'm better than last week. I've finally backed off from her and giving her all the space she needs. I'm spending more 'Me' time. I need the break anyway. We're both avoidants. I'm anxious and she seems to be dismissive.

I appreciate all of your dedication and the other coaches, I'm abit stuck and was wondering if you could please give me some advice, or at least make a video to assist with situation, like signs of when an ex isn't over you in public I went to an event on the weekend, my ex &I attended when we first started dating, I was dressed nice,my ex spotted me, & pointed me out to he's girlfriend they were then all over eachother, does that sound like she felt insecure and he was trying to reassure her that I'm not a threat or something like that ?they soon left after that, he did approach the group I was with, not sure if he was trying to feel connection we once had together,we were together for almost two years, my ex and he's girlfriend have been together for almost a year, I hate the hostility between us I'm just unsure how to approach situation, as he has been very negative towards me in the past in public,the time before last I got treated like I didn't exist, what do you think is going on in he's mind?.

Hi Coach Craig, I've been watching your videos for days now since my ex broke up with me few days ago and I thought that watching your videos would be of great help. I wanted to sign up coaching with you and Margaret, but I do not have budget since I am jobless as of the moment. Even if I do have a job,my salary would still not be enough since I came from a third world country. So what I am doing now is read articles online that I believe would help me become a better version of myself. I am new to the channel, and I hope you'll make a video with Coach Margaret about WILL GETTING BACK TO AN EX WORKS OUT IF BOTH ARE WILLING TO MAKE AN EFFORT. I'm sorry for grammatical errors, it's just that English is not my first language.
@wanderykcaj3 жыл бұрын
I am at a point in my life where I do not know exactly what's going on. I don't know what I want with my life, I don't know what job do I really want. I am frustrated with my life. I allowed negativities around affect my whole being. I take things too personally and in a negative way, to an extent that I've caused damages to some people around me, and even pushed them away without even noticing it. I was too hard on myself for worrying about what other people think, I had a habit of negative self-talk whenever I am being criticized, I often value other people's opinions too much and my own not enough, and I was even drowned by the idea that things in the world cause emotions where in fact it's our thoughts about things that affect how we feel. I didn't realize right away that it’s okay to make mistakes. It’s okay to worry about what other people think of me. And more importantly, I should have paid more attention to the stories I tell myself because the truth is, what causes anger is how we interpret things. And I believe my upbringing and personal experiences has something to do with my situation now. I always feel being rejected growing up especially at school up until now. If not because my mom used to be a teacher, I probably not able to join school performances.
@wanderykcaj3 жыл бұрын
I came from a family who is not soft spoken. My mom raised us to be responsible at a young age. And whenever we made a mistake, we were being scolded and often hear her say words that are hurtful like "you are so careless, you don't have a brain, it's just common sense, etc". And we were often being yelled at if we do not do things accordingly, and if we were not listening. I'm not sure how my ex was being raised, but I've heard she was a princess. A princess, but her parents are not at home because of busy work schedule, and her father was working abroad. She's the youngest as well, and her sisters are teenagers and always not at home because they have their own life, and at that time she's in elementary. And so, she doesn't have someone to tell everything about what's going with her. Her family would not allow her to do household chores, and let the helpers do it. Until her father returned home after losing a job abroad. Her father is very strict even in college she has to be sent and picked up from school. She started learning to do house works during college, since they were starting to have financial problems so they can only get 1 helper to look after her grand father, and so she's responsible in doing the houseworks at time. Aside from that, she has mentioned that her father is a type of person who would yell at them whenever she make a mistake, and would even hurt them physically. And what I have notice about my ex for 2 years and 7 months, she's someone who would not share what she feels. If I ask her what's going on, if I did something wrong, she would just tell me that she will be fine. If we argue or fight about something, and I wanted to sort things right away, she would tell me she wants to talk about it later. And when that later comes, she will just tell me that she's fine now after she cried her heart out. She's also someone who wouldn't tell her family that she's so tired doing all the houseworks, and even if she's sick wouldn't want them to know because she's scared they might say it's just her excuse. She always say that she is fine even if she's not, and that's also one of the reason that add up to my frustrations because she wouldn't tell me. I kept on telling her that we should always have an honest and open communication but she's keeping everything to herself.

My and ex and I are both bisexual. I am 27, and she's 23. We've been in a relationship for 2 years and 7 months. We were so happy for the first few months although I must say I was the one who took so much effort in our relationship since she was a graduating college student by the time we started dating. I was an overseas worker before we met, and so I had savings that I used whenever we go on a date. At that time, I didn't have a job, and was enrolled in a review center for licensure exam. We were in a long distance relationship for the first 5 months, but I made sure that I am able to visit her and date her every 2 weeks. During those months, I was really patient and understanding about her not being able to do video chat right away since she was so busy at school activities and complying with graduation requirements, and if she gets to do it, she would just sleep while video calling me. On April 2019, I got a job near her place and so we were happy because we were no longer in a long distance relationship. Everything went well in our relationship until few months later when I started working. We started fighting over small things. When things at work became so toxic and stressful, I also started becoming like it. I get easily pissed off over things, I became unreasonable. In April 2020, I decided to leave my job because I can no longer handle the stress and I am no longer happy at work. In May 2020, she asked her mom if I can live with them since I cannot go home due to strict protocol for Covid. So I lived with them Starting May and deiced to go home on June last week. During my stay with them, we were fighting over small things and I had this feeling that her sisters doesn't like me although I've tried so hard to do things just so they would like me. I have a tendency to overthink things, and so I decided to go home. Even when we were away,we kept on fighting. I already had an idea that I started all the fights since I am so jealous about her having so much time with her family and not with me. She decided to break up with me on July 2020, but 3 days later she decided to reach out and we're back together. But last week of September 2020, she decided to break uo with me again because my behaviour became worst. But few days later we were back together again. In December 2020, I decided to live with tgem again because I was so anxious that we are miles away. We started slowly fixing our relationship, however the problem is really with me. I always start the fight. In April 2021, we fought again to the point that she wanted to break up with me for the 3rd time, and we were able to fix it with the help of her family. In May 2021, I decided to go home again, and I really don't know anymore what's my reason of going back home. It's a mix of I feel like I need to help my family out since I'v spent all my time helping her family in doing the chores and I didn't help my own family, and also with all the fightings, and I felt like I don't have freedom to go out and look for a job when I am living with them since her family is so cautious about getting infected by covid. And now, in June 2021, she broke up with me on the day of our Monthsary. It's only been few days since it happened. I tried saving our relationship the next day. I travelled 4-5 hours to get to her and tried to sort things out, but she said she needs enough time and space to heal. She told me that she loves me but we are not changing while we're together. She said it would be best if we heal separately, and that she would reach out by the time she's totally okay. I told her that I am scared that during the process she might fall out of love. She told me that if ever that will happen, I will just do some effort to win her back because according to her I already know what her soft spot is. I held on to that statement of hers. But I made her mad when I contacted her niece asking a favor if she could tell me when my ex not feeling well because I am always worried about her. She was furious about me contacting her family because she doesn't want them to know what's going on between us, now they already know that we spilt up because of me. I said sorry and explain my side, but she's really mad. Since then, I started the no contact as what you advised on your video. I am really hoping to give our relationship another shot once our issues has been resolved. But few hours ago I am no longer sure if I still have to hold on to that little hope. I found out that she unfriended me on Facebook earlier, and deleted our pictures in her IG few days ago.
@wanderykcaj3 жыл бұрын
I realized it only now that I am a total mess. It's really true that 'it takes losing someone to find yourself and be able to acknowledge your mistakes'. I just realized now all the bad things I did to her. I neglected her feelings and needs because I was so busy dealing with my own issues. I always demand for her time and attention without understanding her situation that she also needs time for herself because since pandemic, she also lost her job and they could not get a new helper and so she's the only one who's doing the chores at home and she also have to look after her sickly mother. I became so selfish. I only noticed the things that she wasn't able to do in our relationship, and did not appreciate all the good things she made. I always correct her when she has done wrong or if she's not doing something correctly, and I get mad if she couldn't follow. I get mad when she's going out with her family because I felt like she has more time with them and not with me. In short, I became toxic because of my personal issues. I only realized those things now that she's no longer with me. I'm afraid she moves on with her life without me. I honestly couldn't see myself being with someone else, but her. I know the damage has been done, but I regret doing it. I regret for neglecting her and hurting her. Because of what I did to our relationship, I hated myself for being like this. It hurts a lot remembering all our plans, and dreams together and now it's all gone. I really want to change, and I know it's not going to be easy since I am trying to change my behavior and it takes a lot of time and effort to disrupt old habits and start nurturing new sets of behavior. I decided to deactivate and delete all the social media apps in my phone because it hurts seeing her posts that she seems to be happy without me, and she even cut and color her hair, and it really hurts knowing that she unfriended me. I really don't know what to do now. I'm still looking for a new job and plan on draining myself at work when I get one so that I will be able to at least forget the pain. Now, I am wondering if there is still a chance for us? I'm not planning on breaking the no contact because I don't want to get things worst. I will wait for her to reach out, but I'm afraid it will take years.

Could you do a video on parents or family forcing a breakup? My girlfriend had to end it because her mom disapproved and more likely applied heavy pressure for her to do it despite her wishes not to. She's 16 and I'm 17. As of the moment- I'm doing the self-work and personal growth- maintains no contact- and being patient with it all. Her mom is unfortunately very controlling, has very bad trust issues due to her past, and as of the moment- grounded her- took away her devices- her free will- and even her boyfriend- which is me. Is there any advice anyone could give me? We had an amazing one year relationship and don't wish to give up just yet- especially since the breakup wasn't on us and more so on external factors that are hard to control once let loose. Thanks and I've watched your videos since I was 15. They've helped me immensely into being the best version of myself- even at such a young age.

@@ninieks2303 it will depends on he's attachment style on how he will react,know your worth,know that you are love,you are already whole & complete, you do not need someone to make you complete, I learn this through mediation Aaron doughty on here, you are the only one responsible for your happiness,gain back the love for yourself give yourself, self love,I gained back my confidence by finding powerlifting, mediation,yin yoga is where I started with self love, so many of us think soreness is just soreness,when alot of it is caused from holding onto negative energy, that we must let go of to gain peace within ourselves, to learn on how to forgive ourselves, when holding each pose it all comes back to concentrating on the breath, if this interests you look up boho beautiful yin yoga on here, it is amazing it has helped me gain peace within, & has taught me alot, my ex left me over the phone after almost two years last year, in February he met the new girlfriend after 5months it has been very negative towards me, and has only given me bread crumbs by liking and unliking things on social media, if they don't have balls to actually message you then bugger them, keep on walk with your head held high, show them that you don't need them, it will have a huge impact trust me,I understand where you are coming from, however you haveto be strong, keep busy with prioritise find new thing's to help you keep busy, you have got this 😉, create a world where you become your happiest. 😉.
