**Eagle-eyed viewers will note that I'm actually shooting with the 16-55mm in this video and you'd be right. I've been a helmet and gotten confused with another shoot during my scripting and didn't pay full attention during the editing (lots going on behind the scenes lately). Although my thoughts on the 18-120mm still stand, for clarity the images in this video weren't shot with it. My bad!**

Thank you, I started with the provia simulation then tweaked each image separately in Lightroom

When I had an SLR with a telephoto lens 20 years ago I used to offer Asian people a dollar or 100 part to take their photos. That way you have time to prepare and get their best side and compose the shot. Asians love having their photo taken.

That lens is outstanding....I was trying to decide this or Tamron 17-70 f2.8.
@CraigPitts2 жыл бұрын
I was really impressed with it to be fair. I guess you'd need to decide whether the versatility is more important than the extra stop of light gathering ability and shallower DoF...what do you shoot mainly?

@@CraigPitts landscape, people, events, and soon youtube videos. I like the reach, and that it's parfocal. I have a Viltrox 13mm 1.4, and a Fuji 18 55mm 2.8.

@@technodronesogxl9783 cool, yeah definitely consider the 18-120mm then 👍🏼

Somewhat confused. In this video it looks like you were shooting with the 16-55 from what I could see.

You're totally right, I've got two different shoots confused in my scripting. What a helmet! Thoughts on the 18-120 still stand though. Nice spot!

@@CraigPitts I stopped by the comments section to pick the same nit ;-) I just got the 18-120/4 PZ yesterday as well and so far completely agree with your assessment. Really pleased with the IQ so far and enjoy the handling of this most unusual Fujinon. I wish it were either twice as bright or half as expensive, but I really appreciate the utility and unique abilities of this surprisingly light lens.

@@ArtifexBarbarus haha to be fair I was completely oblivious to it before someone pointed it out, one too many Chang beers I reckon but I’m glad you agree with my thoughts, I did enjoy using the 18-120 on that trip, it was on the camera 80% of the time 👍🏼
