Aikido Seminar: HIKKO-MERU - Power of Retraction (Part 3)

In Spring 2019, Joel Nakamura Sensei of Santa Fe, New Mexico was the featured guest instructor at Castle Rock AIKIDO for a full-day open-hand Aikido seminar exploring HIKKO-MERU, the “power of retraction” and the “technique between techniques.” Nakamura Sensei’s focused on biomechanics (TAI-SABAKI), connection (MUSUBI), and flow (NAGARE) give his Aikido style a effortless power that many aspire to achieve in their training.
