Here is a summary (not quite like the real thing though) for those who are trying to cram right now. 1. Get organised : collect your notes, handouts and textbooks etc. and sample tests or past exam copies. Have your pens and pencils together you may want them in different colours. Also keep Note Pads and a deck of index cards. 2. Go somewhere you can concentrate and focus. Eliminate distractions. 3. Create an outline of topics that you expect to cover at the end 4. Take a practice exam. This way you can find out your weak areas instead of reviewing things when you don't have time 5. Review your textbook and lecture notes . look online. Gain a different perspective. 6. Paredo's Law [80/20 Rule] 80 perc of the value comes from only 20 perc of the content. Focus on the 20%. 7. Make flashcards. Include more than formulas. Try to draw pictures. 8. Look for examples of what you learn. 9. Use memory techniques. Repetition is the mother of learning. (Alphabet soup) take a list and make acronyms. 10. Chaining: make an image of each item in your list and chain them together. 11. Managing cram sessions: take breaks after 40-45 minutes. People remember beginnings and endings. Give yourself a lot of those. 12. Do something physical during your breaks. If you don't want to do that, listen to music. 13. Maximum amount of studying just before sleeping. Sleep on it. 14. Biggest obstacle is stress. THE MIRROR TECHNIQUE look at your eyes in the mirror and say out loud your desired output IN THE PRESENT TENSE. It works 15. Before the test kzbin.info/www/bejne/epjap6dug7eVqaM Visit the test centre Mild exercise before exam Eat something and drink water Use positive self talk : It'll come to me in a moment.

By the way you know your mirror technique, you can actually benefit from using/making subliminals, which is essentially having a text 2 speech or recording your own voice in monotone, and masking it under some chill beats, water stream or your favourite music. Your subconscious mind will pick up the affirmations and it will change your mindset. Like Matt said, always in present tense as you're essentially convincing yourself that you are e.g " I am confident at answering questions". I am.able to absorb and understand information under pressure" or "How am I so good at remaining calm".
@oreoblehh13723 жыл бұрын
Hey? U still have time to delete this.. I'm not being selfish or anything but on the behalf of subliminal community we like to keep subliminals underrated as we are scared that listening to subliminals may become a trend and stuffs like that.. @@oreoblehh1372 I'm not promoting anything and stop gatekeeping the community. This isn't even a subliminal that could affect you, you're self conscious of the words you're saying in the mirror and you're choose the affirmations. Research the topic before making claims

Hello Michael. Thanks for viewing and for posting your question. There actually IS an ideal kind of music to listen to, but it's not to everybody's tastes, and that is BAROQUE Classical Music... sometimes called Super Learning Music. However what's more important is that you listen to something that will not DISTRACT you. Instrumentals are good. But really anything that helps you set a mood without you paying attention to the music. You're looking for background sound.

Will these techniques work on exams such as the SSAT or upper level ISEE?/HSPT. I have a month left to prepare. I'm above average on the ISEE but I want to try and get 95th percentile, please help.
