I haven't gotten to that part yet, but my Simba got hit by a car a few years ago. Tragic. I went for a walk and found him in the gutter. The only positive was that he was intact and I found him and he wasn't taken by animal control. Still miss him, got 2 new little guys, brothers, and I can't help but think of how Simba would've been great friends with them.

COSI Science Center is pretty cool, they have a Titanic exhibit until September. German Village is nice, great deli's and restaurants. You used to be able to take a guided Segway tour of downtown Columbus and that is extremely cool if they still do it.
