Great band. I’d recommend Mr Bungles album ‘California’. I hear a lot of later Faith No More in that album and it’s really great.

I was gonna see them for the 1st time this Summer with Korn. One of my top checkoffs, for bands I've never seen. Thanks to the Corona freakout, I have to wait longer

I got to see em on the Sol Invictus tour. I paid lots and lots of money to see the FNM / Korn tour. Still waiting for my refund... hopefully they tour once things calm down. I'm could do without Korn

Yep, same here. FNM, Helmet and Korn. What an amazing lineup! Too bad "Everything's Ruined" because of corona.

7) Sol Invictus - Something's off here. Yes it's FNM but it lacks a bit of ... I don't know... "musical muscle"? Separation Anxiety and Super Hero are really cool but the rest vary from merely ok to boring. Still ok, though. 6) We Care A Lot - Great debut revealing how unique these guys were from the get go. Two of my favorite cuts on this one (As The Worm Turns and We Care A lot). Pretty raw but it possesses a unique beauty and charm. 5) King For A Day - Yeah, Roddy's kinda absent on this one. And a mix of great songs (Cukoo For Caca, Gentle Art, Evidence, Digging The Grave, Take This Bottle, the title track, Just a Man) with some really meh ones tarnishes the tightness of the record as a whole. 4) Introduce Yourself - A really solid sophomore. Faster Disco, Chinese Arithmetic and the title track make a off the charts first part of the record. The second part isn't as good but still pretty great, featuring a cooler version of We Care A lot. 3) Album Of The Year - IMO the most underrated record from the band. Collision opens the album in a monstrous note. Stripsearch and Last Cup Of Sorrow keep the whole thing on an absurdly higher note. Naked In Front Of The Computer and Mouth To Mouth are also huge and what to say about the superb Ashes To Ashes or the hypnotic Pristina? The remainder is far from being fillers too. So, with such a varied plethora of genres and approaches and when at least half of the songs are so amazing you can only get a superb album. 1) The Real Thing - Ok... this album is tied with the next one at #1. And first than everything: there's not a single song here that isn't simply amazing. Yes: this record is one of those few records featuring nothing but absolutely top tier material. There's nothing else I can say that can portrait this record other than exquisite, influential and ahead of its time. What holds it back then? Mike's vocal approach. If this record was recorded with his "regular" voice (like in the Live At The Brixton Academy) this would be easily my favorite album by the band. 1) Angel Dust - Talking of Influential.. yeah. Angel Dust... the majority of songs here are so heterogeneous, filled with hooks and absolutely tight that it's almost ridiculous. And some of my favorite tracks here are the so called "weirdest" material like Jizzlober and Malpractice. A couple of tracks are simply "OK-ish" but other than this it's easy to understand why Angel Dust is considered to be one of the most memorable and influential records ever.

It's funny and unpopular, but Sol Invictus is one of my favorite FNM albums and I've been a fan since TRT.

I've never been able to get into the Chuck M. stuff. Its kinda fun in small doses but I basically ignore the chuck era.
