boysgonefishing, You should the product before you judge. Yea KVD has some great cranks, but as he said, everyone uses them. The bass have seen them a million times. I love Ish's crank series

Most of the fish caught in this vlog were positioned around the cover and ambushing the bait. Their crankbaits weren't necessarily making contact with the bottom or the cover, but as a general rule you want your crankbait to grind the bottom or deflect off the structure and cover.

good to know where your baits are going down to (depth wise) id like to know how many feet are water your in though..helps a little more.

why does Jared have such a high gear ratio for crank bait fishing?

Hello jake schulz Jared is using a high gear ratio for a couple of reasons. He is fishing shallow water and doesn't need the crankbait to reach max depth. The high gear ratio allows him to reel up the slack line when a fish hits the bait and makes a run with the current.
