UPDATE. 2024.03.07 20 pm CET. All Crankk software Licences will from now on be bought on Kadena Chain 19 (NOT Chain 0 like I say in the video). Licence will still cost $150. The "Buy software licence" button have been moved from the Dashboard page to the Wallet section. Upon creating a new wallet, a new button labeled “Buy Software License” will now be prominently displayed within your wallet interface. So you can now purchase your Crankk software license directly from the Wallet section. For us who bought Crankk Software licences before on chain 0, nothing will change, and we will still have our licences.

Reminds me of the gold mine rush in California where the traders selling supplies like shovels, pans and blankets got rich while most of the miners were perpetually in debt. If you are transferring equipment from other projects, it means THOSE are most likely not working out as promised. But you can invest/sink more money into this trying to recoup. Never ending cycle. Staying out of this shill.

At current earnings that seams about right being 2 years. However, prices can change within a day making that ROI less than 3 months. If that happens I am glad to have been mining away during all that time before that happens. But also, the opposite could also be true with prices going down and ROI becoming longer time than 2 years. But these things are general for all crypto mining. Have a great friday!

Thank you for this video. I have subscribed btw. I havent been into crypto projects for a while, and i kinda regret it, given the current situation with a lot of iot projects. I have a few Helium iot hotspots running, essencially Bobcats 300, Sensecaps M1 and Nebra Rock Pi. The procedure will be the same for all of them? Or is it a different one for each brand? I actually have 2 hotspots in the same place in 3 diferent places ... Can i set this up remotelly? Thank you

Hi and welcome! It's never too late to join and take part of the great earnings! You can join with any of those devices. Check out crankk's guides for each device, it will differ a bit for each device. I will leave a link to Crankk's guides at the bottom of this post. Then look under "Full gateways" and "Light gateways". To be able to perform the conversion you often need to access the devices IP address and local dashboard. That is often only possible when you are connected to the same network as the device. It will for sure be beneficial to setup the devices that are near each other so that they can signal each other and you will earn double the amount per device. Best of luck! crankk.io/guides/

It works having multiple devices at the same location. There is an internal rank that is affected by having miners close to each other that will end up slightly affecting the earnings. This have however not started yet, and the earnings affected is though to be around 10-20%. The Crankk hotspots are made to collect traffic so it's for sure advantageous both for you and for the network to try and seperate the miners as much as possible (but still so close to each other so that they can signal each other and you get 2x the earnings). So, right now, there is nothing stopping anyone from setting up multiple devices. Best of luck!

To perform the multimining feature we currently do not need a crankk licence. Simply onboard the gateway using the Crankk OS (going through the setup process)

Great question! With some of the Gateway devices you are able to dual mine without any issue. I would advice you to check for your specific bobcat model in the Crankk discord, were there are some people who have managed to dual mine. Best of luck! /Nordic

Are there any other projects besides Crankk which can be mined alongside on Bobcat 300? I have 2 bobcats mining Crankk. In last 30 days each one made $7.8 . with this rate the roi on just the license is over19 months :(

Looking at the current dollar value can sometimes be misleading. Mining during the "down-times" can sometimes give the best profits. But I don't know if there are other projects that we can apply to those miners. Crankk and helium I believe are the two

To mine Crankk with a gatway we need the licence and perform a stake of CRKK tokens (these we will get back after the stake is finished). If you want to participate in multimining we currently don't need the licence or the stake, we simply need a device. The devices that currently work for multimining are the Full gateways. Many of the light gateways are still able to dual mine CRKK and HNT

Hi, good question! It is possible to dual mine with the Bobcat. However, I have seen that it might be a bit of a technical difficulty to get it up and running. More updates are also coming for the different Bobcat versions. I would advice going into Crankk's discord, to their channel for "Bobcat" and search there. Best of luck!
