Slopestyle first hits | Day 2 Crankworx Innsbruck

Day 2 here at Crankworx Innsbruck and the Slopestyle athletes got on course for the first time! With the first year of women competing in Diamond events it's fascinating watching their process ticking off the features. Some tech bike chat, some banter and good vibes from the crew today!

Cool new segment! One or two feedback points I'd like to mention. One is less audio editing. Vocal clarity is not as necessary when the scenery is outdoors (dry vocals feel unnatural and confusing to follow). And maybe a bit more "raw riding" as the interviews - which are appreciated - are longer than the actual riding it feels like. It's cool for us viewers to listen in to the conversations of the riders before they drop in, try a new trick or just watch them ride down the course without additional music whatsoever. Good content!

Thank you so much, this is great feedback! Agreed the audio isn’t great, trying to reduce the onsite music in the background to avoid KZbin picking it up and flagging it is tricky!! Will keep working on a better solution! More raw clips, for sure 🤝 Really appreciate the feedback 🙏

21:05 This is sad, really. Slopestyle event are invites only and it is sad to see that some upcoming riders have to find ways to be at the event they dream of. I wish crankworx would atleast sponsor them the expenses as it is based on invitation event and not open event like the rest of the categories.

Shania is a racer and not there as a slopestyle athlete. She received funding to make it to this stop for Crankworx overall points collected from killing it at the most events at every stop. Yes it's expensive to follow Crankworx around the world, but if she can win Queen of Crankworx it will be well worth it.
