First the table,then the tent, then the pumping up the beds From Kmart! So funny! Have you water proofed the tent yet! Always keep your things away from the walls, as when it rains, they will get wet.Very simplistic cooking! Your gunner freeze tonight! Ha! Ha! Boy ! I’m glad you put that candle on the chopping board, otherwise you may have had a melted floor. Yes, I’m 75 & have done a lot of camping when I was growing up & after I got married. That meal looked so tasty, & easy to cook. I just love watching you camping & and fun,stay happy , Elaine from Brisbane. So happy you didn’t freeze after all!

Great episode guys and princess Twyla. Your one pot dinner looked tasty. If you want to do tent more in winter a wood heater/stove would be good investment. You can get small ones; second-hand ones . You can cook, and heat. This episode had all if us in tears from laughter. A tag along south light camping in Tassie would be really cool. Mum has asked you guys are married? Do you have any videos or pictures of your wedding?

U need to buy sleeping bags -5 degrees they keep you toasty big time and bring a dona for ontop of your blow up bedding... That one pot wonder should had some chilli or tomato paste...but it looked good...😂😂😂

Nice tent lads. I've got a similar one from Kulkyne campers but I like the colour of your tent better. Just a tip, you can buy an A-frame from Darche as they've got the same style of a tent. It will give you way more room inside the tent. You'll still need that pole to set up the tent, but once you've installed the A-frame you can remove the pole. Cheers.

I have a similar tent. Mine is canvas with a solid rubber floor. I have had it for more than 30 years. It is as good as the day I bought it. I am taking it to Fraser Island in September.

The cheap beds don't insulate from the ground. Cheap option is to use a foil emergency type blanket on the ground under the bed. It will increase the R value which is what the insulation is measured by. Better rated mattress is good but can get expensive.

Thanks for the message BillyBob, suggesting the mattress idea. Yeah, I was wondering why I was feeling a bit cold during the night - thought the blanket under me may have been enough - obviously not. I've been told that a stretcher would be a good idea too as an option, as you're off the ground. Adam

I found out that a blowup mattress is not good for winter camping as the air inside gets cold from being in contact with the cold ground. A stretcher is better as it keeps you off the ground. P.S. I found a good camping gadget to buy. A POCKET BELLOWS. It is an extendable metal tube to blow air on your campfire.
