Are you able to expand a bit more on getting 12-20 compound radius? Did you use multiple sanding blocks, and just get it more or less? How did you determine the frets before seating them? I assume you measured then did each one individually?

Man, you must have strong arms from all that sanding!

I'm sure I can attribute my strength primarily to all the porridge I've been eating lately! ;)

I have a question I am replacing the fretboard on a neck that I bought the neck has already been carved .. and the fretboard that I bought is much wider than the neck.. how would I cut the excess off of the fretboard.. if the neck was squared and not carved yet I could run a bandsaw blade down beside it close and then finish it off with a router what would you recommend to get the fretboard the same width??

Hey man what is that tool youre using to cut the dowel with? Not the chuck. The other one. I've got access to a lathe and a bunch of tools but I can't find it in the boxes of stuff.. I may need to get one. I want to make fret dots using this method as well!
