Nice Gretsch Joe! Fellow guitarist and boxing fan here. Keep on rockin’ 🤘🏽

I've got four Gretches - A Country Classic, a 6120, and two solid body Electromatics. Shame I used a tin-pot tiny amp for this crap video. 😄

@@joestunnerboxing very nice! I had a 6128t for a while but didn’t like the fact the bridge wasn’t glued down 😄 I’m a big Fender guy but always had a soft spot for the Gretsch sound. I’ve recently got one of those positive grid spark 40 amps for home practice. Great little amp and highly recommended 👍🏽

Duly noted. I was just fucking around with my shitty little practice amp (the one on head in the thumbnail), and thought I'd bang a quick promo vid together. Wish I'd taken more time now. 😄😆

@@joestunnerboxingnice Gretsch and phaser (I think?). I’m a Fender Telecaster guy myself. Of interest, my mate saw/heard Duane Eddy in the 60s and said his tone was MASSIVE. He looked around the stage expecting to see stacks until he noticed Duane’s guitar jack going directly into a tiny practice amp at his feet that was miked up. He reckons it wasn’t much bigger than those Pignose practice amps that a lot of buskers use. The twang was all in his fingers of course. Amazing!

I love REAL rock 'n' roll, not "rock" which is basically a pale pastiche. Check out a band called His Lordship. I've seen them three times and they ALWAYS deliver!

Yeah bud….. you are a phenom on the guitar but I really wouldn’t do that in the middle of the woods in British Columbia…. You’ll be attracting some unwanted attention in the form of a 9ft tall hai covered being by the name of Sasquatch.
