I remember one time you went to the spillway and Jay was not having a very good time . She had gotten heat stroke or some thing like that and not only were you worried about her but so was I . I am glad she made a full recovery and can now enjoy fishing there again .

You guys are too precious, Cole & Jay! At the beginning of this video you (Cole) said that y'all were going to have a "friendly" competition. And a HUGE smile was on my face because y'all ONLY have "friendly" competitions! I was thinking: What other kind is there with you two? Absolutely LOVE the way y'all relate with each other. It's really a blessing to watch. Anyway, keep 'em coming!

Great fishing but I just wanted to comment on the outstanding editing! Post production processing is very time consuming but the results we see are amazing! Absolutely love the nature/musical interludes along with the constant action. Then the ultimate attribute is seeing Jay's million dollar smile which never grows old! Blessings!

Love the way you two fish! If more people would throw back the kinda keepers, can you imagine how many 1 and 2 pound slabs there would be?! Our private pond in North Texas, my Pops would whoop us sideways and twice on Sunday for keeping any Crappie less than 2 pounds out of that pond and we could catch them all day long if we wanted to. It was so much fun! Love that you throw back the smaller keepers. Nicely done!

It was nice see Jay catching those fish frontwards, middle and backwards. Don’t know if I ever seen all three in one day by one person. Great video, enjoyed all those aerial videos, keep up the good work. Your friend in Christ, Wallace.

Great adventure! I can't believe your dogs aren't right there waiting for y'all to drop something. Ours tries to catch it before it hits the floor If y'all want something a little different to season the Crappie or any fish with, try Lawry's Season Salt on one side & Old Bay on the other or mix the 2 together and season. (If you mix together, go quite a bit heavier on the Old Bay, because the Lawry's will overpower if not)

Awesome we love watching your videos! For us novices can you tell us how deep you ran the bobber and how deep you let the bait fall before reeling it
@COLE_and_JAY2 жыл бұрын
In general when using a jig and bobber I like to set the jig about half as deep as the water I am fishing below the bobber give or take about 6”. If the water is deeper than 8ft I usually don’t use a bobber. Out here we were letting the jig sink about 3ft before reeling. The fish were high in the water column!

I messed up when I started crappie fishing more than bass fishing, then when I started bringing crappie home my bass budget was cut and my crappie budget increased. When I blackened the crappie I lost all my bass tackle budget and the crappie budget is almost endless.
