I've watched this video about 30 times now and being here in Wisconsin, what I watch is a dream! Mr. Russ has a real paradise of of a lake, and to invite avid fishermen come and benefit to his hard work is a testimony to his heart. He was having a blast with his guest. I'm probably going to watch it another 30-100 times in the future, because the camaraderie, content and excitement was infectious. This is my most favorite Crappie fishing video ever!

Derek I know you have some good fish stories. What is your biggest crappie or bass out of that lake.

The largest one that I landed was a 5lb bass. Now one of my cousins caught a 15lb bass out of that lake. It is mounted in his house now.. The monster that broke the line on the big ol bobber, that is a sterile carp that my grandfather put in the lake 20+ years ago. He put 15 or 20 of them in there to keep the grass down that grows under the water. You can catch a glimpse of them every once and a while and it looks like the freaking Lock Ness monster.
