Thank you for sharing your story. I am happy to see that God gave you a spark to finish your story. Some chapters are hard to read my brother. I too battled depression and had to stop for a minute. I was trying to put out content and grow, and then I had to have open-heart surgery. After having that in NOV 2022, I lost my mother to a heart attack in her sleep in AUG 2023. It's been rough for sure. I just started back trying to make content myself, and trying to re-establish myself. God be with you and I both and lets just go slow and enjoy this life of fishing. We don't know each other but bro I'm so proud of your journey. I grew up watching Bill Dance, Jimmy Houston, In-Fishermen you name it but I never saw a black face drive a boat on TV. You and several other brothers have filled that void and it's cool to know that you all are right here in the Metroplex. Whenever you have a cloudy moment just remember that its always someone who has it worst than you. That's probably the reason you have over 103K subscribers. Because we can't do what you do, so we live through your adventures. I hope and pray you and your family fully heal and can be happy again. I lost my wife and best friend to Covid in 21. I was in a deep grief state for a year. Then it was a moderate grief. I was extremely depressed. I got back on my low T support and it woke me up and restored my confidence, grief will knock a person to an extreme low point. Lives bring us so much confidence.

Man as a guy who grew up poor with cross eyes terrible acne cystic acne that covered my body I understand depression cause even though I had all this against me I still had to go among people to work and do things I love like fish and hunt was s struggle I hated mirrors pictures etc I lost my grand parents years ago I lost my dad 9 years ago I have a wife and 8 years old son I’m 46 and fighting cancer for the second time I’m stuck in the house so weak from the chemo I can’t play with my son much less go fish my acne is worse than it’s ever been I’m in terrible pain everyday from the cancer i can’t work to support my family I have to trick myself into believing I’m not dieing everyday not just for my own sanity but for my family it’s just hard for me to see you with your health and nice boat and feel sorry for you sir I still get up everyday and tell myself my situation sucks but someone out there had it worse than me and that’s what I want this to be to you when you’re having those days you don’t want to get up and make content I want you to think of the guys like me who live through your videos cause we can’t do things we love anymore I want our stories to motivate you to get out there and press record

Keep your head up brother. For 54 years I also thought that only weak people got depressed but I found out in a hurry how incorrect that thinking was. I had a thyroid issue that got me all out of whack and there were days I couldn't even pray. Praise Jesus, due to the prayers of others I was able to get the correct medications to balance everything out. Your videos are real and from the heart and that's what sets you and a few others apart from the ones just looking for a paycheck. Hearing you speak about your grandpa and mother inlaw gave a glimpse of what great folks these people were. Cherish those memories and remember, none of this caught God off guard. He is there to lean on when everything is falling apart around us and will NEVER leave or forsake us.. Bless you Sir, may 2024 be the best year ever for you and your family.

Glad to see you back in the Matrix, The Holidays is the worst for me, I spent years in the Military alone at Christmas's in a different country and I had friends but its not home, That seems to come up every year this time of year.
