I have tested with practice many strategies and one that wins consistently over 70 % of the time is the 6,7,8. This includes using the iron cross when point is 5, 6 or 8. And especially important is walking when up 20% and having an adequate bankroll.

You finally said what I learned the "hardway" (oh the pun-ishment!). After watching lots of your videos with your 100 bankroll, I thought I could play it with 300 or 400 B.R. With playing 15/18 bets. Ha! With 15.00 table minimums, the field takes too much from the box wins. I now see that the 25/30 level is just the starting point. Now maybe on smaller B.R. if I play straight 6 and 8 and on a good roll 1/2 press up to 25/30...perhaps change over to I.C.

The House Vig is collected everytime you win except w/ buys/lays. Use lower vig bets when available. Use 'Edging', the advantage of a line bet on a CO roll being 'spent' on other bets.

You play how you wish, the casino wants you to make "Line bets" that's why you have to have one to shoot. They could just force you to have action to shoot, but they are specific to Line bets. The Pass Line is a bad bet and the Dont Pass is just mediocre. I have proven many times that, "Risk for Risk" Place betting out paces Line/come plus Odds. But you play as you wish, I will play as I wish.

The 6,7,8 is the baseball equivalent of small ball. Mathematically, the come bet is superior to the place bet. But if you are going to make place bet, you need an exit strategy. There must come a point where you regress and guarantee a profit or turn them off until your DP is resolved. If you lose, bring your place bets back into your rack. If you hit, either regress or simply turn them back on.

Only problem with this strategy is come out roll. I've seen on bubble craps 5 sevens and 11 on come out roll which would destroy $500 bankroll. Of course once you past that, potential of making money is great. I know in a long run hedging come out roll is not profitable but with this kind bankroll would be necessary. Great video Jacob. Also, what is your opinion on Greg Uholo style of playing. CSL made great video on that topic and I love to hear your opinion

So the premise of this vid is that for a single roll there are markedly more dice combinations that you win than lose. I know this really seams enticing as you elicited. But as with everything in life one must look at the whole picture, which, in craps of course, is the actual payout for any combination you select is reduced to a greater disadvantage. For this reason, if you go back to the casino time after time, eventually, you will succumb to the obvious disadvantage of payout vs. single roll probability. Of course you know this, so not discounting your strategy as you will loose less in the long run. You have a great presentation for craps and explain it well, thanks!

Have you ever played this way at the Casino? Because if you haven't, you wouldn't know how effective or ineffective it is. The whole picture is exactly what I put on video. It just doesn't fit whatever craps rhetoric you have told yourself is "right" so you feel the urge to comment on it. But you play the way you wish, and I will play the way that I trust. But inferring that I have misled or didn't show the whole picture is unacceptable.

Well, it you placed the bet on the "5", you should placed 15 bucks on the "Field" .. it's better than placed bet on the "9" .. so If the 5 come .. you still win 20 however, you will win 15 bucks on others numbers (2,3,4,9,10,11 and 12) ..

You should lay maximum odds on all don’t bets all the time. You might find a dealer that pays you even money on lay odds. Very few players bet the don’t and even fewer lay odds so some dealers will forget how to pay it.

Many people talk about “good” strategies because they win a large percentage of the time. You know another strategy that wins a lot of the time? Betting 32 individual numbers on roulette. Or playing crapless and covering all the numbers as place bets. If you want to actually summarize all of the outcomes then you should just do the EV of the strategy per roll.

The video has a statement "House edge means nothing....". In gambling, house edge means everything. The best odds for winning $500 (or whatever your goal is) is to make a single $500 bet on Don't Pass, and walk away. I admit that this will take the "fun" out of playing craps. If you make a point, Pass or Don't Pass, take the maximum odds possible because those bets have dead even odds.

Taking odds after making a point is 100% the exact odds if you bet a multiple of the payout amounts so the house can pay without giving out change. ie bet a multiple of $5 is the point is 6 or 8 (or $6 if betting don't pass) As far as making a single $500 bet, also true. Pass line is 1.41% house advantage, don't pass is 1.36% house advantage. That's the house advantage on a single $500 bet. Suppose you are betting $25 a roll. You've got to win 20 bets more than you lose to win $500. Unless you were to win the 1st 20 rolls in a roll, you're going to have to make more than 20 bets if you ever get there before losing your bankroll. Every bet you make over 20 is an additional $25 where the house odds are eating up your bankroll.

Odds are literally a no advantage bet. So you are still just playing the line. Over time the odds will break even. House edge means nothing to a short term player like we all are. House edge is for the casino to use to judge their profits. But you play how you wish.

There may be "serious" crap players, there may be tourists on a once in many years visit, but there are no professional craps players.

Lets look at your first roll here You established a don’t pass point on the 6 for 60.- now you set up the iron cross with 20.- on the 5 and 25.- on the 8 and 15.- on the field and you make the 7 valuable by putting 30.- in odds. Now when it comes to losing and winning rolls you have actually 33 ways to win vs 5 ways to lose because the 2 and 12 pay double so it is 31 + 2 no ? Now that means you will win 6.6 times before you lose on the 6. And if we say we win on average lets say ~20.- per roll that would be 132.- before the 6 shows up taking away 105.- so that would leave you with 27.- profit. On the other hand if we just left the point alone and did nothing with it you would have 5 ways to lose and 6 ways to win so you would end up winning 100.- which is much better. My point is whichever way you choose to play the iron cross from the dont... the naked dont will always give you a much better return in the long run.

Playing the Dont by itself is great and I will never say it isn't. But playing this way let's you take advantage of the whole game, and allows you to win while you wait for the 7. That's why you play this on a hit count. If you just play the naked don't, it's the only way to win, and that misses out on a huge majority of how sessions go. Playing this way also allows for having some donts knocked off and still making a profit from the Box/field hits. But like I tell everyone, "play the way you feel comfortable"

Pretty much torture to maybe win a few bucks , i was at Mohegan Sun last week and an older gentleman had about 15 k in his rack he was playing the passline 250 with 250 odds, and 800 dollar come bets ,with 400 odds he was two spots to my left , the guy next to me had the dice for about ten minutes then the older gentleman got the dice and rolled out three point numbers and a bunch in between by guess he racked and additional 10 -15 k, I was at the Atlantis Bahamas a few years back and two guys at opposite ends of the table were betting huge amounts and one player had the dice about fifteen minutes those two other players plowed it in on the hot shooter it was wild, those guys won tens of thousands and then immediately colored up after the shooter sevened out the pit super was called over and i swear there was sweat running down his face,, as the pit counted out the color up,,my new opinion is go big or go home and after playing for many years it is feast or famine on the craps table no in between, and no hedge. win one week lose the next week and know when to run with a profit. If I had a $60 Don't Pass bet and the point was 6, I would simply Place the 8 for $48. Collect on the first hit and then spread out to the 5 and 9 for $25 each on a second hit.

I’m not claiming credit for anything. I just criticize the traditional players. Which I think are set up to lose. What’s worse is when they win or lose they think it’s blind luck and rationalize their wins and loses. Oh, I couldn’t get a roll going last night and lost and then I finally got lucky and won some money. The Casino loves rational like that. So you accept your loses and keep coming back for more. The hell will that! A good player adjusts his or her play accordingly. Long Rolls, Random Rolls or Choppy Rolls or Cold Tables. That way you take advantage of whatever the Dice 🎲 🎲 are doing for that hour or two. If you know some strategies to flip to. If you don’t then you are at their mercy.

You need at least $1,000 to play this. 7-11 on a come out, followed by hitting a point or vice versa lights this strategy on fire. I burned through $500 like nothing. It is not uncommon to establish a point of 6. Place 60-30 on DP, 30 on 8, 25 on 5, 15 on field…next roll is a 6. Now you are down $105. Put another $60 on DP and come out is 7-11. Now you are down $175 in TWO rolls!!!! Now what do you do? You better hope is he doesn’t roll another 7-11. Cuz you just lost almost 50% of your buy in in 3 rolls.
