@user-gx2yy1df6f No, I've never seen it happen. As a matter of fact, I was working one night at the Golden Gate when a couple of young guys got really lucky a few times in a row and ended up with $125k. They asked the shift boss if they could put it all on black (they'd had a few too many beers)... of course, he was all too happy to let them. They lost. lol. Someone managed to sneak a couple of pictures, and the casino ended up framing them and putting it up on the wall. The last time I was there, about a year ago, it was still hanging on the wall near the roulette tables.

PSA. long time in the casino business here. been a dice dealer, manager, pit boss, backed off card counters etc etc. believe me when I tell you that the casinos LOVE players who think they can actually control the dice. the walls of the table are lined with what is called "the alligator". even if u learn to control the trajectory of the dice, once they hit the alligator its complete variance. no casino with integrity will allow a shooter to consistently not hit the wall, especially if they were winning.

I've always been barked at if even one die doesn't hit the wall. I prefer to hit the wall so that's a double whammy. I've been on rolls before and they're fun. Hell, one time I rolled snake eyes 3 in a row but I didn't bet the 3rd time. Someone did though lol He got paid 750 and flipped me a quarter. I put it down for the crew.

What's also hilarious is I have only been at a few craps tables in my life and I have seen many people maneuver the dice a certain way before they roll meaning they think they have some system. So likely quite a few craps players will think they have some sort of system on controlling the dice no matter what.

True, The Gator Wall disrupts any attempt to get a perfect shot, But Here is what I have learned.... There is no way to escape the SEVENS. But There are ways to get a small advantage. I have done repeated rolls over and over (on my table) and logged the results after thousands of tosses. example: I can use a certain dice set and toss style to consistently hit more 6's than any other number, including the 7's, and other numbers come up less frequently (less than random rolling) so I only bet on the number SIX. I have the Place 6 bet ALWAYS working even on come out. The only time I lose is if I am betting on other shooters, or if I bet on other numbers. The longest roll I ever did was 53 rolls without a seven out, But honestly, My average roll over extended periods is no better than a random shooter, The advantage is betting on the number that comes up the highest percentage of times CONSISTENTLY.

You are absolutely right. The majority of the dealers I know here in Vegas are themselves degenerate gamblers, and they've tried EVERYTHING there is to try, and none of them has ever been able to consistently win. And none of them has ever seen anyone else do it, either.

@@LoveToRelax Well notice the only game where the player can have an advantage over the house is card counting in blackjack. Casinos do their best to find these players since they require odd betting and plays at times. So yeah if there was some method to produce the same dice results with every throw you can bet your ass craps would also be removed or changed massively.

Dice requires and inhuman level of precision - that apparently some people can manage. Card counting is something anyone can be taught to do, and any casino can _instantly_ defeat - just shuffle the damned deck more often. Slots require inside knowledge / access - rig the machine or know precisely how it works (computers can't do random.) Sports betting... needs a fixer. Roulette is hard to predict, but with enough results, patterns do emerge. (humans are bad at random, too. how the dealer tosses the ball doesn't change that much.) Getting any of this in your favor is highly unlikely. The exceedingly few who pull it off are how we get TV shows like this. :-)

@@jfbeamRegarding roulette, you were right when you said humans are bad at random. (They’re also bad at probability, estimating, understanding and calculating odds, critical thinking, I’ll just stop there…) I mean, I guess that given enough information patterns do emerge, but what that really means is: the human mind looks for patterns in chaos and once you get enough data, you can finally ascribe some type of pattern to that which is random. The other option is the wheel has a bias- which is not common at all, and takes a massive amount of tracking to determine.

My first time playing was at a casino on the coast of Oregon called Chinook Winds. I was in my early 20s and had a labor job where I was supposed to help set up for a concert. There was heavy snow (VERY uncharacteristic of the Oregon coast!) so things were delayed. I had a few bucks and the other guy who was there with me taught me how to play craps. I ended up winning 35 dollars and proceeded to get hopelessly hooked on gambling and ended up crushing myself repeatedly. I would bring all my money to the casino and play blackjack until I had nothing left. Sometimes I would win and actually leave, but I normally ran out of money and struggled to pay for things I needed. Then I got into therapy and after quite some time of working on my mental health, I began to learn ways to limit myself and to actually have willpower that I didn't know was possible. Now I have the freedom to not only play casino games, but to be able to stop. Even if I'm down. It started off so fun, but the dangers are genuinely real! I refuse to bring anyone to gamble for their first time, now. I don't want to be the reason someone hurts themselves. 🤮 It's crazy fun to gamble, but it can become a pit that's hard to climb out of!

I bet and turned my bets off and on a bunch of times. I managed to get my 5 k back no lies. For the next five days I didn't gamble once I ate at the best restaurants saw the best shows and enjoyed my vacation. Came home broke but it was an amazing trip. Blew 5 k in 5 days enjoying my life. I've seen it done before, I was too young and new to the game to understand how to take advantage of it. Early 2000s at Caesar's in AC, random local walks in, stands at the spot closest to center, then rolls multiple hard 4s, he was able to hit the spot right below the alligator pyramids, there's a tiny bevel below it. you can see it in the video. Guy hit multiple hard 4 bets, won a ton, and left the table on the 7 out and won the don't pass.

I've got what I hope is a funny story about Caesar's in AC. I was playing Blackjack there decades ago. This is before I quit Blackjack and discovered Baccarat. Anyway, I was playing a hand for $100. The dealer turned up an Ace. He then glanced at his hole card, made a move like he was going to expose it (that he had the Blackjack), then 'caught himself' and said 'Insurance?' I was the only one at the table who fell for it - I put my $50 Insurance bet out there. He then checked his hole card (again), swept up my Insurance bet and put it in his rack. That little slick move, which the dealer had obviously practiced at home, cost Caesar's my business for ten years because that's how long it was before I went back in there.

yeah you'd somehow have to hit the same spot on the wall every time with the same momentum, angle, etc. and the smallest bit of airflow change from 1 throw to the next could be enough to fuck it up or anything else. pretty sure if they could create a perfect vacuum space where no variance existed a machine could do it. but even with machines there can be miniscule (but effective) variance.

I've seen people throw down thousands on all kinds of crazy bets and not once did the stick man say "you're kidding right?" There are too many variables for someone to consistently win at craps. Even if you're able to roll well, practice, slide the dice, cheat it will only increase your odds by a small margin. Other factors will impact the outcome of the rolls, hitting someones hand, chips on the table, etc. This story is wishful thinking. Having said all that, craps gives you a better chance than most games. It's a lot of fun when a table is winning and everyone is rooting for the same result.

So true. No dealer would ever question a legal bet. When I was a young dealer, I was playing at another casino (I was dealing at AC Caesars and playing at the Trop). I was up $12,000 on a crazy aggressive don't system. The seasoned Trop dealer leaned down and said, and I quote, "Kid, you're going to have one more win then you get the f**k out of here and go to the cage." He was looking out for me and I did as he told me. As a dealer, I've also done this a handful of times to help winning young players who think they're on a streak. some have listened, others not. I suppose the casino wouldn't like this but if it's a nice kid, I try to help him out.

My ultimate question regarding dice control/influencing is: • If the first & primary goal of the dice control throw is to maintain the same axis, then what’s the difference between the dice going off axis after hitting the table/back wall verses shortly after leaving the shooter’s hand? Answer: There is no difference. It’s a random roll regardless of WHEN they go off axis. I believe dice control is theoretically possible, but there are too many variables for it to actually happen. The question above encapsulates why a shooter can’t have the dice flip, twist and turn in virtually countless ways after hitting the table, yet it’s somehow a controlled roll because the toss was on axis. Somehow the roll counts toward their “seven ratio” as if the dice were supposed to do all that. The dice have changed axis multiple times before coming to a rest, none of which was intended by the shooter.

It sounds like a pyramid scheme to me. Several groups pay entry. They attend a casino (splitting their winnings). Statistically a proportion of the groups end up in profit (allegedly proving the scheme). Owner takes a cut. Most groups make a loss. This is explained away by 'you didn't do it right', or 'just bad luck, we'll get them next time'. Just like all pyramid schemes, success is flaunted and bad luck hushed up or put down to not working hard enough. And this video is just carefully chosen examples. I could show you me winning, and not mention the times I lost. It proves nothing.

Even before that. The average Casino Craps table is 12 feet long. That is a distance, which you do not get to cover without sufficient velocity. This alone has the dices bouncing like crazy. LOL. But I would ask, what's your opinion on hot shooter mojo? I only pull out the big bets when I feel that energy at the table - it's very very rare cause there is usually zero positive energy at a craps table. Just cause it's drunk and noisy doesn't mean it's positive energy. Cause most people are there expecting to lose. I've made waaaay more money playing craps than I've lost over the decades. Only recently have my poker cash game winnings surpassed by craps winnings. I live 12 minutes from a big casino. I love craps but I've only played maybe twenty times in the last seven years cause I live in the poker room and few people I know play craps. But my data set is rather large on this subject. I keep records of everything although Microsuck chewed up my spreadsheet files back in 2006. I'm sure I have the original index card records in a box somewhere but where? LOL. Anyway, I'm curious about your opinion as an AC craps dealer for 42 years. I've seen shooters go into a trance and shoot the lights out. I've done it myself where I feel like I went to sleep while I was shooting and when I finally sevened out and "woke up", there would be sandcastles of bets covering all the numbers on the entire table. Many times I've witnessed the floor make strange attempts to snap a hot shooter out of their "spell" or randomly interrupt the flow of the game when it gets hot. Why would they do this if they know they have the mathematical edge and the dice cannot be controlled? Your thoughts?

@@CribNotes Good thoughts Crib. Ive been told to write a book about craps as I've seen every scenario imaginable. Buy ins of $10 million many times. fights. 300 pound men crying. Wives pulling knives on their loser husbands. Threats. Accusations of loaded dice (common). Capping $1,000 bets. Don't players attacked by right way players. Crazy crazy stuff. There's just a few things you need to know: The 7 is just one roll away and is the most common number. Playing against the 7 is a fools move in a fools game. Yes, there are "hot" shooters but it's just a mirage. They eventually 7 out. Many many times I see people press, press, press, press and take no money off table. Just last month, I saw a guy press $100 bets to table max of $5,000. I asked if he ever took money off the table. He said "I'm down so much I've go to take all the risk I can." The thing was he was winning very very big and had $30,000 on the table after starting bets of $600. The next roll? You guessed it. A 5-2 7 out. He walked off without a word. I still play in my downtime. How does a seasoned dealer play? I lay bet entire back wall on come out. That's laying all 6 numbers to lose. I leave it up and never take it down (remember 7 is one roll away). After 2 knock offs of my back wall bets, I run continuous flat don't come bets at double the amount of my back wall lay bet. So if I lay $150 on back wall, I run $300 DC bets flat no odds. I win 87% of time about 20 to 50% of my bankroll then take a break. I've hit SEVEN 7s on the come out roll. I've hit 5 point 7 outs in a roll. It's the only way to play IMHO.

Dice control is possible but with a caveat. Most tables these days are very bouncy which causes the dice to be completely random when they hit the back wall and ricochet. I know because there were two casinos that I played at in Atlantic City that I used to routinely beat. The stickmen would do all sorts of things to distract me. Then a few years ago, they got rid of those tables and replaced them with bouncier ones. Why would they get rid of those tables if it were completely random?

The casino would have and have every legal right to tell you to back off. I’ve heard them tell people “you’re just too lucky for us tonight and we’d like you to leave.” Or the even better line of “your action is too hot for us tonight. We like to invite you to leave.”

I set the dice. But I'm not good at it. I know that if I keep the dice on one axis and take away two sides, you get a huge advantage. Saying that, it's really hard. The dice have edges. The tables are bouncy. Many people have mentioned the gators on the walls of the table. To beat those gators, you don't want to bounce off them, but only have the dice die touching them. It's like a long put that falls into the hole with the last half of a revolution. Every once in a while I'll have a perfect throw where the dice are on one axis, bounce once, and come to rest touching the edge of the table. Maybe with 100's of hours of practice, you could make money consistently.

@@alphacupcake7408 let me ask you this, I've seen the game played when the table is so crowded that after every roll it takes about 3 to 5 minutes to pay everybody out and then have people place more bets. Then when the guy picked up the dice to throw them, whatever he was doing with them, I don't know if he was setting dice or if he had a good luck routine where he was tapping them on the table or rubbing them in a circle, or whatever he did, it seemed like it took him 10 seconds. So are you saying that if he threw the dice 10 times and it took him 10 seconds each time to throw the dice he would waste 1 minute and forty seconds, whereas, the 3 to 5 minutes to payout out a full table and then take more bets after each of the 10 rolls, people really get annoyed/bothered by the lucky guy rolling the dice and doing his routine that is actually helping the table win money, that's what people say makes the game go slower? Ive heard numerous stories about the casino being concerned, so they switch the stickman. Yah, it couldnt be that they rotate them every 15-20 minutes, and give them actual breaks...like is in their contract...no no, when they start to lose money they send in the' special stickmen who ends all rolls' ie- bullshit. Ive had plenty of long rolls, when I attempt to influence the dice (control is too strong a word). did it work? maybe- its all about avoiding the 7 at all costs, not necessarily hitting one number or the point. Dice setting doesnt cost you anything, if you think it gives you an edge- go for it, the casino loves people who play systems- because like anyone else- most of the time youre going to lose.

Whereas card counters in Blackjack have actually influenced evolutions of blackjack… From adding more decks to auto shuffler. It’s damn near impossible for a card counter to not get backed off or 86’d. And it’s a tough way to make a living cause ever pit boss in the world knows what to look for. As for “Dice Controllers” Pit bosses actually find it quite amusing when they see the obvious grip and throw. But they are no threat nor have they ever been a threat. This video is spot on. I have a cheap set up at home, but it's materials are comparable to a real table. The video throw technique is correct, I peak the arch of the dice closet to the wall rather than midway. Almost like I'm deep bombing it's landing 12-18" before hitting. It doesn't hit too high on the wall after striking the pad, just a few inches. I hold the dice with 3 & 4 up, and 6 & 1 facing left & right. I use a hinge like arm throw from a side stance, rarely bending my elbow. I can hit 90-100 percent of no 7s on the first 4 rolls everytime, and sometimes up to 7 rolls or more. Beyond the 5th roll, statistics come against you. I haven't used this at a casino, as it's a real slow way to bank. Baccarat is my go to for a different advantage.

Theoretically the math is sound. Unfortunately most people cannot master this. A lot of people practice at home with a practice rig, read the books, even take a class or two. But when they come to the tables in a casino their SSR is unfortunately almost like any other random shooter and they lose their ass. Yes you will have that top 1% that can actually master this and master the muscle memory like a machine that is necessary to keep this up. But most cannot. That story three below me by the dude? Sounds like he got lucky. I hear Casinos love people who think they can control the dice. If they hit the alligator wall in the back, it simply turns to pure luck. If they dont always hit the wall in the back or get it to a point where they hit the table right in front of the wall and have the cubes lightly graze the wall (as one of the dice controller books suggest you do so that you can say, "I hit the wall, see?") The pit boss will inform you that you must hit the wall everytime and with more force. The dice must hit the back wall. So interesting vid tho.

@grifter84

@@TILT223 The odds of blackjack are always stacked against a non-counting player no matter how many decks. More decks increase the house advantage, all else equal, but not enough to overcome accurate card counting with a well-designed bet spread. Most card counters make their money on 6- to 8-deck shoe games, because those account for by far the majority of beatable games available in the US market.

Gotta love someone taking advantage of a system that takes advantage of others. It's insane how he was not even subtly threatened for his life taking from the casinos at their own game. Greed is real and has gotten many people hurt, still to this day. I'm genuinely surprised he is still alive and gambling with this method to this day

Oh yeah? You know a lot of people who've been murdered by casinos for winning too much? Is it possible your entire understanding of this issue is based on goofy mass media products that aren't related to reality? Wouldn't that be more plausible?

Let me see now, has no W-2 for winnings, no IRS income tax form where he paid taxes on his "winnings", within the video is a "system" book- sly way of getting you to buy the book- which is the idea of the video because if you ask any craps dealer they will tell you this is just another casino myth. But, hey it's your money to lose not mine. Just let me know what table you are going to try this at and what time so I can video it to remind you not to believe b.s. like this.

To be clear, it's NOT a betting strategy that beats craps, it's controlling the dice which can be done with practice, practice, practice. In other words, you can't do it without a lot of practice. There is NOT a betting strategy that will ever beat craps.
